Pieces of Beauty 2

PLEASE NOTE: This review will be used for all 3 of the games in this franchise. Featuring beautiful traditional Japanese art by world-renowned Japanese artist Ohara Koson, if you love the traditional Japanese art style & jigsaws then this is for you! Number of puzzles per game: Pieces of Beauty - 7 Pieces of Beauty 2 - 13 Pieces of Beauty 3 - 14 I have a guide published for each of these 3 games that features a pic of each of the jigsaws in that game. These puzzles come in 3 different sizes (48, 117, 285) & completing every picture once in every size will give you an achievement per size completed of that pic. While the puzzles are beautiful, I do have a few complaints: - The music is nice but repetitive & the volume RESETS every time you log into the game which is rather annoying! - The game also does not save any progress you have made on any puzzle until you complete that puzzle. With the 2 smaller sizes being quick to finish this is not an issue BUT with the biggest one you definitely need to do them when you know you have the time to do it without being disturbed by other interruptions in one sitting. - Some of the pieces are on the puzzle requiring you to move them 1st & not all of the puzzle pieces show up on the screen, ending up outside / beyond your field of vision on the screen. Constantly reshuffling is not ideal when you really need to be able to see ALL of the pieces you have to work with. - The background themes can be distracting & you have 2 choices for the board (plain white or pieces outlines on white) BUT some of the pieces can be nigh on impossible to see once placed on this white background. A coloured transparent board or some other means to give a visual of where you have already placed pieces in negative space areas of the puzzle would be greatly appreciated by most players. Hopefully the devs will listen to what the players have issues with & fix them. The issues I have raised are not game breaking, just annoying! Overall though I highly recommend all 3 of these games. I bought them on sale in a bundle but even at full price they are still cheap & good value for money.

Very relaxing game, bought after having played the first one. One of the good aspects is the reshuffling area. I told on my review that the pieces kept sliding off the screen, and on this game this doesnt happen anymore. Thumbs up for the devs for taking notice. Overall, an easy recommendation. Nice music and great art!

Technically adequate, but nothing exciting and some mild inconveniences. Interface feels rather dated for 2021 and slightly confusingly underspecified at times. Sometimes there's some graphical lag when dragging a piece like it's trying to snap to a grid. It randomly locks two puzzle pieces so you can't move them and you can't connect pieces together before you lock them to the grid. It's worth its price, but not worth the time. I was not particularly satisfied -- but the art and music are fine and good, and if that's what you are here for then by all means feel free to give it a go.

A great puzzle, the arts are very beautiful, and music goes a long way with the game. I recommend it to anyone who wants to relax with good music and beautiful art.

It is a beautiful Jigsaw Puzzle Game! Each image is a masterpiece and the options with more pieces are really challenging! I recommend.

Jogo no estilo quebra-cabeça ou jigsaw muito relaxante com temática japonesa (trilha sonora e imagens). Recomendo!

Ótimo Jogo, A música principalmente, só joguei uma partida até o momento dessa review porém durante todo o tempo que fiquei jogando e escutando a trilha sonora eu passei repensando minha vida, é um ótimo plano de fundo pra tirar um tempo e refletir sobre a vida e nossas escolhas, sem mentira nenhuma teve momentos que eu quase chorei, fora isso o jogo é ótimo, deram alguns poucos bugs mas coisa simples que se resolve voltando uma tela atrás, nada que atrapalhe

I enjoy jigsaw puzzles, but this one has a giant flaw. I've only played two or three puzzles, but twice now I've encountered a puzzle with a piece frozen in place within the puzzle grid itself. The first time it happened, I was nearly to the end of the puzzle before I realized the piece was not movable. Today, at least, I found the same situation while still constructing the border, which I like to do first. The frozen piece is blocking a border spot where two other pieces need to go, and reshuffling shifts all unused pieces around, as expected -- but not the frozen one. I don't see much point in working a puzzle that can't be completed. Has anyone else had this problem? I would enjoy this game if this could be corrected.

What caught my attention at first was the art, but I was soon surprised when I entered the game, the soundtrack is amazing, bringing a perfect combination between putting puzzles and being in a totally pleasant environment. 100% recommend the game to anyone who is still in doubt!

Quebra cabeças magnifícos e estonteantes, este jogo é bom para os amantes de arte! Entretenha-se montando o quebra-cabeça e construindo imagens incríveis! Recomendo!
