Piczle Cross: Rune Factory

A lovely and addictive game with easy-to-use controls and fun themeing. The puzzles are challenging but in an engaging way. Really kindly developer too and is very active listening to people and replying. If you like Rune Factory and puzzles, this is a no-brainer to pick up! I can't find a single flaw in it.

Super recomendado, para fans de los Run Factory e incluso para los que no. Si te gustan esta clase de desafíos es maravilloso y único. Tiene ese toque fresco para salirse de los convencionales juegos de picross de solo ir haciendo uno tras otro. De los muchos juegos de picross que he jugado este es el primero que veo que tiene esa función de jugar el mismo picross en blanco y negro y luego con la mecánica de a color, que añadiré que aunque sea el mismo, la imagen que se forma tiene ligeros detalles de color o ubicación que al final hace la imagen luzca diferente a su contraparte de blanco y negro. También debo decir que tiene mejoras muy positivas con respecto al anterior Piczle Cross: Story of Season. Y como parte final solo debo decir que espero con muchas ganas alguna continuacion del Piczle Cross Adventures con los personajes tan queridos de Score Studios. Amo ese primer juego y sus mecánicas. Vamos James Kay hazlo posible.

I have never heard of rune factory and have no idea what it is, but it genuinely brings nothing to the game. The game looks like absolute dookie and the crossover/collab is just a gimmick, but the puzzles work how they're supposed to and that's the only thing that matters to me.

Like their other games which are picross/nonogram, They have a visual representation as you progress. While This one visually has more options and you can choose equipments unlike their Story of Season game. There's no indication on what each stage unlocks. Only spouse requirements are hinted. Even then that's not my issue. My issue is with most games the thing that shows the lines that can be solved isn't programmed correctly specially in their Guardians of Azuma added content, where it shows some stuff and when you cross out a square and then back again it might correct itself. In all of the picross games I played not from this developer this feature works correctly but, in all of their games I own it's not working correctly. As I like to use that feature when I want to solve stuff but, not look through each line (which is turned off anyways whenever you're in a monster/boss stage anyways) when I'm multi-tasking and need to turn off my brain off. Other than that I enjoyed the game.

It's picross, 10/10 no notes. I did like the option of black and white or color puzzles options tho.

ようやくクリアだー！って思ったら、カラーピクロスが大量に残っていた件。。_(┐「ε:)_ パズル選んだ後の右上のアイコンで切り替えできるって全く気付かなかったよ・・・。 ボリュームは十分以上、簡単なものから難しいものまでいっぱいあって楽しめます。 どう考えても不可能なものはミスチェック機能で無理やり// ただ１点、プレイしていると段々重くなることがあります。その場合は裏画面行って戻るだけで改善されます。 ナンダロウネコレ。

If you like nonograms, this game is an insane value, whether you're familiar with Rune Factory or not. If you like Rune Factory, all the images revealed by the puzzles will be familiar, and you may like the farm customization aspect. I'm 130 hours in, and I don't give a crap about the farm customization. The controls leave a bit to be desired. It's designed for controller first, which is fine, but if you're playing KBM, that means that some of the functions aren't really available to you. Technically, they probably are, but I have not figured out how to use them. However, all the main functions you need to just do the puzzles are covered without issue. It's more confusing than anything. And it hasn't stopped me from puzzling for 130 hours. I'd guess I'm done with like 75% of the available puzzles? It has a lot of puzzles. $12 is a steal for this many nonograms.
