This has the makings of a compelling game but it isn't there yet. I love the idea of a tetris like city builder but found this game to be more frustrating than fun. First off the game lacks goals. I have no idea of what I'm trying to accomplish and what triggers the win condition. In the Mayhem mode, there are varies perks awarded but I didn't really get what they did and why I would select one over another. I found myself just placing things rapidly and had no idea why the level suddenly ended - one second my citizens seemed OK, and the next it was over without any kind of warning. Sometimes there would be a ticking sound that made me nervous that I was about to loose but it seemed to indicate that I was leveling up. Similarly I had no idea what I had triggered the win condition, it just happened. I played around a bit in the zen mode to see if I could figure out what was going on, but all of the perks were disabled and you just keep placing buildings and roads until the game decides you've done enough and says you won. Boring. Here are some suggestions: Make the different length roads always available. You can't build without them and I often lost because no matter how many times I re-rolled they won't come up. 1x1 square in a timed game in which you can't place anything else without them is no fun. Add a crossroads in to save time. Fix the controls. Having the mouse control both placement and changing the viewpoint was super annoying and made it difficult to place things quickly. Make it very clear what the level goal are. Show them on the screen along side where you are at achieving them so you know what you are trying to do. Add different types of goals. As far as I can tell the only goal is to place pieces. Boring. Think of different goals. Maybe create puzzle levels where you have to do clever placement. Make different board sizes. All of the boards are the same size. How about some small , medium , large and jumbo boards. I wanted challenges to overcome. Again the board are all too much alike with the same goals. Again I really like the idea here and I'd give it another shot if you built on your concept but right now it is more a work in progress than a finished product.
Tetris with buildings. The background music is surprisingly good, and even in time-limited mode, you can still complete achievements. It's also localized in Korean. There was a minor bug where roads wouldn't display even when laid, but it was still fun to play.
Ok, real talk. Can you not make it open a webpage on pressing alt+f4? Also controls are terrible.
Recomendo! É um jogo baratinho e ótimo pra passar o tempo.
Not for me. 4/10.
Very cool building game. It has different modes so you can either challenge yourself and play with time pressure or use the zen mode to chill. There are also other modes with completely different gameplay (drop crates from a crane and try to get as high as possible or something like 3d tetris). I had a blast completing this game!
This game has earned the title of Mayhem. It's a chaotic 3D Tetris-like game with dynamic music to fit the ratcheting desperation. My only wish is that the soundtrack would be expanded if possible. Maybe a few more of those relaxing beats that turn up in intensity. A fun game with multiple features to pass the time!
Difficult recommend. The time limits are extremely low (especially Square Stack) for placing blocks/units, so it stops being "challenging" pretty quickly and just becomes too annoying to be fun in any mode, except Zen. Even the "Relaxing" difficulty gets sweaty. The camera and block rotations can be buggy sometimes, which is an extra painful nuisance when you're already low on time. If the timing element were more forgiving, it'd be a fun game.
Its a nice game
