Some MMORPGs hide the pay2win and dont make it as blatant. Other MMORPGs are very blatant pay2win. Phoenix Dynasty 2 is VERY blatant pay2win and here are some of the items in their cash shop Costume hair that gives 3% hp and 3% mana as well as costume body that gives 5% hp and 5% mana for a total for 8% hp 8% mana. To make things worse you can only buy them in a 30 day version so after 30 days you need to rebuy them Demonic Bone Wings Suitable for all classes and can be used after Level 30. Increases your Physique and Agility by 300, all your Element Damages by %5. Bounded, which means it is untradeable. http://store.steampowered.com/app/722851/Phoenix_Dynasty_2__Eternal_Hellfire_Package/ Bound Gold Pouch that gives 2k gold. That is a lot of gold Superior Exp pills that lets you buy EXP with real money. That mean that if you spend money you can be max level in less than 10 min since each pill gives 1.000.000.000 exp Mounts that gives 240% movespeed (you can buy a 150% movespeed mount with 999999 copper) Elixirs that boost atk and def stats for 2 hours. Enchantment stones. While you can farm them ingame it will take a VERY long time to get high level enchantment stones to upgrade your gear to high levels Air Hammer that gives more enchantment slots to your gear Purple gear box that gives a random gear of the class you are playing (because people LOVE pay2win loot boxes in 2018?) Dungeon bot package. They sell bot time in what they call Demon Tower so you can afk there and get gold and exp while you are not playing the game. Even Clicker Heroes are more active at this point Star Soul Pack that gives 500 star soul points. That also boost your stats And the game itself is terribad for a game in 2018. Dekaron/2 Moons did this pay2win grindfest better, at least animations looked good in that game compared to this one and you cant at least buy exp there. If you want something similar to PD2 play Revalation Online. That game is also pay2win and daily based (like PD2) but at least it plays fine and it dont look bad at all. Or if you like mobile games that you can also play on your PC play Crusaders of Light. That game is also better than PD2. Sad that a mobile MMORPG is better than a PC MMORPG releasing this year.

The current max level is 49 and I have played several characters to around level 40. Around level 40 is when the game content increases in difficulty. Level 40+ mobs seems to all of a sudden do double damage, with twice the hp and armor they normally have. This is the first pain point the game introduces to make make money from players. You can pay to upgrade your items and slot power gems into them to continue breezing through the contents or slowly grind dungeons (capped to 2 entries per day per dungeon) for better gears and do events for upgrade crystals. You can farm for better gears, but I have yet to find any mobs or events that drop the special cash shop items that is required to slot multiple power gems into your equipments. Also, around level 40 is when you will notice a spike in EXP required to level. Initially you can hit level 38 in a couple of hours through doing quests, but everything slows down at 40+. You have to do mundane daily quests where you got to talk to a set of npc for EXP that take around ~10-15 mins a day to fill one part of your EXP bar. My guess is after hitting level 38 on the first day, you need about a week of casual play to cap out at level 49. This is the second pain point the game introduces to make money off players. You need extremely high amount of EXP to level up pass 40. You can bot in this game, but it is only free to bot on normal maps where mobs give you less than 0.0001% EXP. There are restricted areas with higher EXP mobs, but botting there require consumable from cash shop item. The third pain point is the traveling speed. There is a fair bit of travelling in this game, for instance, to do daily quests. The free mount you have is the slowest of them all. You need to pay to get mounts with faster speed. As you can see, the game is designed to make money by giving pain points/stresses/inconvenience to players. You do not need to pay to experience the full game, but the game experience itself is hindered greatly due to the way it was designed. You should play if you like grindy asian style games and/or if you are cash shop whale. The problem is the population is extremely low, there are many players joining everyday, but they don't stay due to the way the game is. One day, you might find that you have grinded or pay your way to the top but then look around and realize that you are the king of a ghost server.
I don't mind old graphics, I like how Phoenix Dynasty 2 have this nostalgia feeling. There is just one thing that discourages me to run it again: auto-bot. This thing alone makes the MMORPG game unplayable and I think it's pointless to play a game like that. It's no fun this way. I'm looking for a game I can put some effort and have fun with every level made, every item dropped, every quest completed BY MYSELF.
Phoenix Dynasty 2
Ntroy LTD presents Phoenix Dynasty 2 with the following slogan: If you care more about content than graphics, PDO2 is your thing! ''. Let's get into this oriental MMORPG to see if what they say is true, or simply is another unfinished game and what will be remembered as the make me laugh at the genre. Positive Points •It is available in a total of 6 different languages, spoken in almost all the world. •4 Servers available well positioned geographically and in good working order. •Several special events are held during certain periods of time which are fun and what we can play to obtain different objects. • An extensive variety of classes to choose from. •The images on the loading screens are very beautiful. •The map from which we will be able to see our position is well done and is pleasant to look at. •The controls are comfortable and you can get used to them very easily. •It requires almost nothing, talking about components, so we can play it from the library's computer. •It seems that developers are very interested in your product and are getting enough updates every certain short period of time. •We can travel in a giant flying sword. 10/10. Neutral Points •The launcher that comes out at the moment of running the game has a very well done and well ordered HUD, but what is difficult to understand what does each thing we play. •If we press on the coordinates what appears next to the mission, what we have active, our character will automatically go to these coordinates. This can be seen as good as bad, in a good way and what is a much easier way to perform the tedious task of moving, the bad way is we do not have to take any action, why should I play a game? what is handled alone •Most of the skills are cheap and recycled from other titles but there are some of them that are original. •In certain situations we will see many players connected but in others we will not see 1 single in the whole map. •The graphics look like a PS2 game what came out at the beginning of the console but they have something minimalist what makes me feel attracted to them. •The tutorials explain all things in a very simple way so that most of the concepts remain unfilled, there is something to learn on our own. •The scenarios are very large, so even if they have many objects, they seem empty. •In the soundtrack music always predominates over sound, but in a very remarkable way and since there are almost no remarkable sounds, and in spite of this it is not very good. •At the beginning the story seems a bit interesting but with the course of the plot it becomes increasingly boring. Negative Points •The translations are not well done and even languages are mixed among them, such as playing in English and having texts in Portuguese or Spanish, which I do not see the meaning of. •There are problems for everything, the first time I tried to make it work, I had to wait one day because the servers were disconnected, at other times I did not have the option to enter my account or on certain occasions the servers are in maintenance , I know that this is necessary but the wait is long when they have not even announced what they would do. •The downloadable content of the game are only cosmetic or advantages that we will obtain to be able to excel before other players, besides what has its own currency within the game with which we can buy the advantages already mentioned above. Pay2Win. •The combat is really bad, the enemies have only one or two attack animations and the only thing to do is to stand still while throwing basic skills or attacks. •The missions are typical of all MMORPG that nobody plays, with a sequence that is repeated constantly: Talk to someone, go to deliver the message to someone else, talk again with another person, kill a certain number of enemies even if you already have done before, repeat the whole process again. •Several texts that only bother and even more with the type of font and the colors they choose for them, makes everything look like a browser game. •The skills are branched, what I mean by this is that we can not choose one over the other but what is already designed to be that way and you have to follow an order, without being able to modify them. •The personalization of characters is null, we enter the game without being able to modify its appearance. Conclusion I will summarize the review: It is a Pay2Win what is not finished. I personally would not spend time in an MMORPG that we will not know if in the future it will remain open, I say this with all the respect of the world and without discouraging the developers, but that is what I think, having in the market so many others of the same genre and with antiquity what can give us a better experience. Holy Crap! This is THE worst game I have ever downloaded in the history of PC gaming. This game is NOTHING like the videos / pictures. This game has graphics from 15 years ago, the movement / combat is complete garbage. (the movement is worse than Diablo 2).. Just don't bother yourself with downloading it. 2 gigs of garbage on your hard drive.
Instead of trying this game instead consider going to your local grocery store, buying a bag of sugar, pooring some on the table and snorting several lines of the stuff, you'd have a much more enjoyable experiance doing that than playing this "game"
Wont even start, can not connect to servers, Would love to try this game out however i cant even get in the game to play it
There are unprofessional gms and directors and want to get only money. Can't open game servers same time and too many people had login problem but others get level and kill others because of login problems. Don't play and don't buy anything for this game.
