Phantom Hysteria

Amazing maps, cool gameplay loop. devs very active. was streaming with some friends and a dev dropped in and asked to use a clip as a bug report. that bug was patched while we were playing.

At the current state of the game, there is A LOT left to be desired. - If you're able to determine what evidence the ghost doesn't give (for example, if you take a photo of the ghost/near it) and don't see orbs, you can rule that out, and know its the other 5 evidences. So you don't even need to try and get the others, you can go straight into fighting the ghost.. - Having more maps would be wonderful, even some smaller locations, so solo play isn't as much of a drag - The game would benefit having more than 6 evidence types. More variety so you don't find yourself grabbing the same things over and over again This is an Early Access game, so hopefully they add more to it. I'm looking forward to playing it in the future, but until then, I'll have to leave a negative review.

This game was a blast with friends. Unfortunately, they had grand ideas and couldn't bring those ideas to the game. Had such potential and is sad that this is now abandoned.

A much easier recommendation at the new pricepoint. Definitely a different take than most on the ghost hunting genre, with a focus more on the action side than the investigation. A lot of personality, too.

great game with even better Devs!

On a high end PC capable of rendering entire solar system wide game spaces in much more high spec, high graphical demand games, this game crashed, had terrible visuals. They included extreme grain and low render, objects render breaking causing them to appear to meld together or as if moving at posted frames, and visual glitches all of which made the game unplayable while looking directly at the game (had to watch my own stream to play) or extreme eye strain. It ran slow and extremely clunky, with some visuals not rendering or others glitching into one another causing what appeared to be extremely poor middle school level overlapping animations. It even caused issues where some areas smash cut into one another making playing feel impossible. The controls were extremely horrible, moving very slowly or at times wrenching control out of my hands. Despite having controller support I often had to swap to keyboard and mouse in order to complete simple tasks like voting for a ghost. The navigation of menus extremely complicated and worked almost like HULU and not in a good way, but in the frustrating layered menu and options within one another way. In essence, this game is horrible, I regret ever buying it and regret playing it even more. I am already requesting a refund and I am pretty sure most of the positive reviews which came from beta/early access are either influenced or bought. Anyways play Phasmophobia instead and fire whoever decided on the engine for the game. Thank you.

This is a great game. So many other new ghost hunter games have so many bugs and are unplayable. This game is running smooth and is mostly bug free. It's a great ghost hunting and action game. I highly recommend this.

Fantastic game. Been looking forward to this game for a long time and the outcome for this game was beyond what I initially expected to release. Only downside is optimization. Had to down the graphics and resolution quite a bit to be able to play the game properly, even with a decent computer. Other than that, it's fantastic gameplay and mechanics. Can't wait to see what updates come out in the near future!

play the game use toy like it now cant play because i don't have an account with them wast of money

I love this game, and its working really well for early release. Excited to see what the developers have next for us.
