Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 4 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It is an interesting relic from the FMV goodness that your old 486 or maybe even if you were one of the fortunate ones 486x computers could provide you. For it's time, it's really impressive. Now, it's slow, sluggish and pretty poor acting. Other than that, it is was to expect form an old FMV video game, you click on the obvious and you proceed and watch the video. Like an interactive video game video.
Perfectly playable on Steam deck out of the box. The only issue I have encountered - after 1.5h to 2h of play it tends to freeze and you need to hard exit it from Steam. Since it is a shorter game it didn't bothered me too much, just save often. The game itself have certain charm, but be warned it is very cheesy, red-novels-for-women writing and acting level, with paranormal horror stuff thrown in the mix. Just don't expect writing of Gabriel Knight or Broken Sword. Gameplay is also pretty straightforward. Unlike pretty much every other adventure of the time, it has incredibly simple interface and everything is basically one left-click away. Puzzles are simple and logical, maybe except the final 7th part. In any case it offers you optional hints at every step, should you need it. Which brings me to few things you can find helpful:

left skull icon gives you hints
right eye icon opens 3d view of an item - some of them have hidden properties you can access here
arrows in the middle to skip cutscenes
Steam deck menu button to skip longer cutscenes
Horror cult classic. Some crazy deaths in this one.
+1
7h 5m Played A classic FMV (Full Motion Video) horror adventure that still holds up surprisingly well. The story is interesting, pacing is solid, and the ~7-hour length works in its favor. The live-action acting is very dated and often unintentionally funny, and technical issues like mouse bugs can be frustrating. The biggest downside is Chapter 7, which can effectively soft-lock you if you start without the right items, forcing the use of a walkthrough. Despite its flaws, the nostalgic charm and connection to Sierra make it an enjoyable retro experience. Game Duration: 420 minutes Complexity: 1.5/5 Strategy: 1.0/5 Luck: 1/5 Interaction: 2/5 Theme: 4.5/5 Replay Value: No, once you know the story and puzzles there is little reason to replay.
This game was as good as when I played it like 25 years ago. Amazing story, acting and environment. If you like "Point & click" games, this is one of the classics you need to have on your wishlist.
I do not normally leave a lot of reviews but this game was an absolute garbage. It was extremely boring and made absolutely no sense. The husband was terrible and only good parts were her being gorgeous and that you could pet the dog. I requested a refund after 20 mins of torture. What did I expect from an Activision game anyways... Update: Could not get a refund because of the 14 day policy.. Now I have this stupid game forever.
