I would have never purchased this game if I had known the career progress was tied to online servers which they will be shutting down. I will never purchase another 2k sports game moving forward! it makes no sense that a career mode be online only. this is just bad practice.

unfortunately i cannot recommend this game as 2k, and take two believe it to be the best thing to delist games from buyers consumers, solid golf game, bummer i cant play it with the homies now. :(

This *was* an excellent golf game. I had a lot of fun playing it, and I was hoping to convince a few friends to pick it up so that we could play it together. I will never be giving another dime of my money to 2K and I can only hope that their disgusting anti-consumer practices will be made illegal in the near future. #StopKillingGames

Release date 14th October 2022, death date March 2027. 5 years life? The practice of disabling online features after just 5 years, likely to try to encourage people to move on to a newer version which they may not prefer or want to do is a bit disgusting. I realise 2K/HB Studios are not the first to do this, but this practice leaves bad taste for those that have put in many hours into this game. The game itself is pretty decent, and the game mechanics not bad either. It's a shame, really it is. I cannot see myself purchasing any further games from this developer or indeed this franchise because I think once you purchase a game on the provision of it providing X & Y, it should provide that for a considerable timeframe. It feels a bit like "Leasing" or "Hiring" a game, which being old school or an older gamer I don't particularly like. I understand this might be clear in the TOS, or T+C but that's not the point. It's poor spirited and feels a little immoral. Poor show. Something that COULD have been considered would have been some way of giving a heavy discount for 2K25 to those that purchased 2K23 - but even then it still feels not right.

Won't Be buying another HB or 2K game. More online only ♥♥♥♥. What a waste of money. Greedy F***s!
