This is such a fun game. Survivor-like but much more interaction. The progression feels good, not slow at all. Recommend giving it a try if you like these type of games. Works amazing on steam deck

I've played the game occasionally while taking a break from studying and I find it really enjoyable there are lots of unlocks the music is rly nice overall a rly great experience

Pest Apocalypse is a survival type game with a interesting twist: You have to deliver pizzas while surviving pests attacks. Through delivering pizzas, you will not only get new passengers (whose are the weapons your car will have), items and also tips( which are used to buy upgrades for future playthroughs, and unlock new stuff). Killing monsters will give you upgrade levels (I think is the name) which is used to upgrade your driver the next time you deliver a pizza, so you always have to deliver pizzas. And probably is best to deliver as quick as possible, since if you keep grinding too much, you will run out of time on the pizza delivery and earn less tips. How do you unlock new stuff in this game? The game tells itself, deliver more pizzas. If you beat certain threshouds of pizzas delivered, you'll be able to pick a new unlockable, which is either upgrade you can begin improving, new items to find on runs, new passengers with their weapons, new vehicles and more. The only thing that can be unlocked by beating stages is new stages, after you successfully survive them. Would have been cool if there were some extra stuff that is unlocked alongside the new stage though. The only turn down I find on the game is that the passenger max level upgrade doesn't really stand out compared to the normal version of the passenger, so there is no extra effect the passenger provide for damaging the pests. The game itself has its own array of unique soundtrack, definitely made specifically for this game, which turns more interesting driving around the world delivering pizzas. The only problem is that the soundtrack can feel repetitive if played for too long. Anyways, it's a good game if you want to do quick survival runs. I recommend getting it.

I can see many more hours ahead for me in this game. Lots to upgrade/unlock and experience.

"This game answer a question if we ever get to an apocalyptic timeline... who'll bring the pizza ?..." A pretty unique twist on the VS-genre, its the apocalypse but you still have a job to accomplish, delivering pizza while destroying monsters who want a slice too ! it was pretty funky !

A high-octane pizza delivery experience that keeps the beats pumping and the upgrades flowing! I'm having a really good time with this game, and my only gripe is that the controls keep kicking my ass. When playing with a controller, the left stick moves the car left and right instead of in the screen direction. And because of the fixed camera angle, when you're moving the car toward you moving the stick left moves the car right and vice versa. Adding an option to move the car in the direction of the left stick would make this game *even better* in my humble opinion.
