Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 59/day in the week to Aug 10 → 63.57/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 17 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,502 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game is amazing. The story is probably the best this series has ever seen before, and I think everyone should play it, honestly. However, it is extremely time consuming, really a big grind and honestly I feel like you have to farm using the Peaceful mode Reaper method to make this actually go by smooth and quickly. You also NEED a guide to get everything done in one go, absolutely recommend looking up a 100% guide so you get the full experience in 1 run and don't waste more time doing 2 of the main run or the Answer. My next concern is with the Answer, and it's that I genuinely really despise that they make us grind all over again, not as much sure but it was the biggest downside to this game, the absolute grinding of it. Better than the originals in that aspect because of all the new mechanics like the clock, and once again access to the Peaceful mode Reaper method, but I still think that really demotivated me from even trying out the Answer, when I knew I absolutely loved this addition to the story. And I think that Yukari was a bit watered down, her FES version of the Answer was a bit better than her here, and with the detail and attention they put into it in the remake, they had no reason to now tone it down once the attitude was a lot more explained and justified. Everyone else in that story felt like a big upgrade though. Overall, this story in my opinion was the best in a Persona game ever, but the grinding can be a turn off sometimes, and very helpful when you use the right methods to get EXP fast. This game is a must play in my opinion.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 31: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

好玩
Persona 3 Reload is the Persona game I struggled the most to finish, despite genuinely liking many aspects of it. My experience was shaped partly by fatigue after finishing Persona 5 Royal and Persona 4 Golden back-to-back, though it is difficult to separate that from the game's own pacing issues. Unlike P5R, which I finished in two weeks, and P4G, which took exactly a month, my playthrough of P3R dragged on for months. I paused my playthrough entirely before January in-game, left it untouched for a year and a half, and only returned later to do the final chapter and Episode Aigis. Consider this a weak recommendation. I would honestly put Neutral if not for Steam's binary review system. Potentially unmarked spoilers ahead. This is by no means a bad game. P3R carries the same high production values expected from a modern Persona title, sleek UI, fabulous character animations, and another banger soundtrack that now permanently lives in my playlist. Its main cast also resonated with me. Yukari stood out as my favourite character, with her straightforward no-bs personality and personal struggles making her immediately compelling. The relationship between
Shinjiro and Ken
was also one of the stronger parts of the story, while
Junpei's development through his relationship with Chidori
was handled well enough. I also found Persona 3's central theme of mortality and the meaning of living in the face of death to be a fascinating topic to explore, and the payoff at the ending was phenomenal. Unfortunately, the experience was dragged down by several other factors. The pacing feels way too slow at first. However, this is not because nothing happens in the first half of the game. The party gradually expands as new members join, eventually leading to Aigis' introduction at Yakushima. Fuuka's joining arc is especially memorable, while Yukari's growing conflict with Mitsuru quietly builds throughout this section. The game also spends time establishing the relationships between these early characters, and Yakushima is for me one of the strongest moments in the story. The pacing issues are instead amplified by the gameplay loop surrounding the story. My lack of enjoyment of the combat system made the monthly trips to Tartarus feel increasingly like a chore. Combined with a weaker roster of Social Links and fewer overworld activities to fill the downtime, the slower stretches between major story developments became much more pronounced. Speaking of, let's talk about the Social Links (and Link Episodes). P3R's Social Links are a mixed bag. Some are genuinely compelling and even explore ideas that feel distinct from the rest, but I generally found myself much less invested in these characters' personal struggles compared to P5R's Confidants. Exactly why that is is difficult to pinpoint, but the emotional resonance simply was not there for me to the same extent. A recurring issue is that some Social Links feel like they rush through their character development. A character may spend several ranks struggling with a personal issue, only to suddenly reach an epiphany after a single reply from the protagonist. The transition from conflict to resolution is way too abrupt, especially when the insight seems like something the character should have already considered themselves. Several Social Links were engaging. Akinari's stood out as the strongest, while Maiko and Keisuke's were also memorable. Unfortunately, others such as Akihiko, Kenji, Bebe and Nozomi ranged from forgettable to frustrating, and the game offer little incentive to progress through these other than persona unlocks. The dungeon design actively worsened the experience for me. Tartarus is way too long. Climbing over 250 floors of procedurally generated corridors is an exercise in endurance rather than exploration. Several sections also suffered from visual design choices that made them unpleasant to play through, particularly the dark fungal area and the neon, multicoloured upper floors, which I found uncomfortable to look at for extended periods. The combat itself was fine. Theurgy was an interesting addition, although I never found it as exciting or memorable as P5R's Showtime attacks. The enemy design, however, was another aspect that failed to engage me. Much like P4G, battles often involve abstract Shadows with loosely descriptive modifiers + names such as "Balance", "Table", "Noble", "Jotun", "Beetle", etc. The models themselves are lazily reused with different colourations for different modifiers. But why are we fighting these at all? It doesn't make any sense. My biggest criticisms, however, concern the writing. The central theme of accepting death is compelling, but I often wished the game explored its world more concretely alongside its symbolism.
The mechanics behind the Dark Hour, Tartarus, Nyx and the Fall remain underdeveloped. While this does not necessarily detract from the thematic message, I personally found myself wanting a more fleshed-out understanding of how these systems actually functioned. This also affected my suspension of disbelief regarding the wider world: despite the existence of Shadows, Apathy Syndrome and the growing awareness of the Fall, society at large shows surprisingly little reaction beyond isolated cases of victims and people joining Strega's movement. The Kirijo Group also strained immersion. Despite having enough power and influence to cover up incidents related to the Dark Hour and Shadows, they seem to rely almost entirely on SEES when facing the impending crisis. While not everyone would be capable of fighting Shadows directly, it is difficult to believe that there would be no other strategists, researchers or crisis managers involved in preparing for the Fall. My feeling on Aigis is mixed. The "machine learns humanity" is so cliché, especially since Aigis already demonstrates attachment, empathy and personal preference early in the story. Her later focus on self-determination and choosing her own purpose is a much more interesting direction, but I wish the game had explored it in greater depth. The supporting cast also occasionally suffers from abrupt emotional transitions. Fuuka's reconciliation with Natsuki feels surprisingly rushed given the extent of the bullying beforehand. More broadly, rather than watching characters gradually change through their actions, I frequently felt I was simply being told they had changed. The game repeatedly returns to variations of characters reassuring to the protag "I'll keep fighting" or "I've found my answer". These resolutions fit the game's overarching theme, but after hearing them ad nauseam, they begin to lose their emotional weight. Strega proved equally underwhelming as antagonists compared to P5R's Maruki or even Shido. Their philosophy essentially boils down to welcoming humanity's extinction despite possessing no convincing justification for why Nyx's arrival constitutes salvation.
Ironically, I found myself appreciating P3R a lot more when watching edited story arcs (JCBackfire) than playing its full length. The emotional highlights, major reveals and quieter character moments form a satisfying narrative when viewed together. It was the long stretches between those moments: the repetitive dungeon crawling, the boring daily life, the repetitive and rushed character resolutions that consistently weakened the experience for me. P3R remains a thoughtful and ambitious game with an excellent presentation and a cast I generally preferred over P4G's. Its philosophical themes are admirable, even if they did not resonate with me as strongly as they have with many others. Ultimately, however, its repetitive gameplay loop and tendency to prioritise symbolism over concrete development prevented it from reaching the heights of P5R for me.

PROCHAINE ETAPE : PERSONA 4 : REVIVAL !
