An apartment caught in a loop. A missing sister. A ritual gone wrong. Perpetuo is a first-person psychological horror game where each cycle changes the house, rewrites the story, and pushes you beyond the apartment into places that maybe shouldn’t exist.

About

Imagine being trapped in an apartment where reality keeps shifting, where every loop takes you deeper into a mystery you don’t quite understand. At first, you think you’re searching for your missing sister… but the more you explore, the more you realize... nothing is what it seems.
Perpetuo is a first-person psychological horror game where you relive the same apartment over and over, but each time, the walls remember more than you do. The furniture moves, objects disappear, and something lurks in the dark—something that knows you’re here.
What to Expect:
A Shifting Nightmare: The apartment changes each loop, revealing new routes, rules, and threats.
Environmental Storytelling: Piece the story together from spaces, fragments, and subtle clues... no hand-holding.
Challenging Puzzles: Rituals and logic puzzles to unlock new areas and endings.
Unrelenting Tension: A shadowy entity watches, adapts, and grows less predictable the deeper you go.
A Focused Horror Experience: Short, tense, replayable... built for atmospheric exploration, puzzle solving, and the occasional sharp burst of action.
Face the cycle. Break the cycle. Or stay trapped forever in... Perpetuo.

Okay, listen up—this isn’t a game review. This is a warning. I know what you're all thinking: "Perpetuo looks like an artsy, mind-bending puzzle game, sure, but what's so special about it?" And that’s exactly what they want you to think. But mark my words—Hideo Kojima is behind this. No one else could pull this off, and if you don’t believe me, you’re part of the problem. I’ve been on to Kojima ever since that whole P.T. debacle with 7780s Studio. Everyone thought it was just a weird demo for Silent Hills. Nope. It was a carefully orchestrated prank, a way to test the boundaries of what we know as "reality" in gaming. And it worked. It messed with people’s heads. Kojima’s been playing us ever since, and Perpetuo is the latest in his series of mind games. This game is too weird to be coincidence. You think the looping mechanic is just a clever gameplay feature? Please. That’s classic Kojima. A perpetual cycle, a never-ending loop of confusion and discovery—it’s the same stuff he did with the P.T. corridor. It’s all connected. The broken timelines, the constantly shifting narrative, the fact that nothing makes sense in the traditional sense of storytelling—this is Kojima’s playground. And let’s talk about the visuals. You can’t look at the environments in Perpetuo and not think "this looks like something Kojima would dream up." Everything’s too calculated, too surreal. It’s like he's pushing you to question reality, to decode every shadow, every detail. Is this a dream? Is this our world? Are we in some kind of simulation? Welcome to Kojima’s philosophy 101. The protagonist? The eerie, faceless figure that walks through these distorted landscapes, always on the verge of discovering something monumental? That’s a Kojima trope if I’ve ever seen one. He’s been using anonymous, almost ambiguous protagonists ever since Metal Gear Solid 2 and Death Stranding. You are the player; you’re meant to be lost in the game. You’re not supposed to know anything, because that’s exactly how Kojima works. Look, I know the skeptics are gonna say I’m crazy, but just think about it for a second. How many times has Kojima dropped cryptic hints, Easter eggs, or bizarre marketing campaigns? I’m telling you—Perpetuo is just another layer in his grand, multilayered scheme. This isn’t a simple indie project. This is a Kojima production. The minute you pick up that controller, you’re no longer in control. Kojima has always been the puppet master, and you’re just the marionette. So, go ahead—play Perpetuo if you want to. But don’t say I didn’t warn you. Once you’re in, you’ll start seeing the truth. And when you do, you’ll know that Hideo Kojima has been behind every single game ever made. Trust no one. Believe nothing. Perpetuo is just the beginning.
I found this game quite amazing, as a fan of indie games I can say its very unique, I loved the soundtrack and specially enjoyed the clever puzzles and intense moments. I could see some things that can be fixed like the performance as early access I get that its not the best but hopefully will be improved, although graphics are very nice! Lovely game for this season!!
I tested this game on an Xbox ROG Ally X with the graphics maxed out and the ray tracing works great. The sound is what I'd highlight, along with the puzzles and graphics. I hope they add more achievements in future updates and optimize it a bit more. <3
I love the deep and rich story, its not handed to you but you must uncover it. The puzzles make you think, and the winding looping hallways seems to go on forever. But the tense atmosphere makes it worth it to push through the fear to the end. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I did!
