Perfect Gold - Yuri Visual Novel

故事不错，英语配音很棒！

A lovely story featuring two girls navigating their own feelings and honestly kind of underrated, in my opinion. I cried a bit playing this, the writing really spoke to me.

This's a short love story with polished presentation. Perfect Gold's setting and themes would feel slight if it lasted much longer than it does, but it doesn't outstay its welcome. I thought the cross-cutting between past and present worked well. I wasn't convinced that the occasional choices added much--they feel like vestiges of a more narratively complex VN--and I wonder whether it might not have flowed better without them. On the other hand, many elements showed pleasing attention to detail, e.g. many of the backgrounds have little animated elements and other small touches that make things feel more textured. For my money, reasonable value at its price and an easy recommendation when on sale.

Short sweet yuri story with alchemy academy setting. I like the chemical of the 2 protagonists. Very adorable. pretty much enjoying. good good.

The characters are endearing even though--no--especially because they are flawed. Marion and Audrey share moments of laughter and rebellion, betrayal and fighting, regret and solace. They come to understand themselves better as they confront their insecurities and reform their relationships with not just each other but also their professor, Marion's sister, and Audrey's classmate. The raw emotion of the introspective dialogue is on par with the levity of the playful banter. It's easy to get immersed in the world thanks to the splendid voice actors who make each character feel alive with real feelings, memories, convictions. All the characters and moments are further amplified by the lovely soundtrack and vibrant art. By the way, you can save at any point you like and revisit to see the different reactions (and achievements) your choices bring about. The story gradually introduces the player to parts of the world at a digestible pace. It does not close abruptly nor overstay its welcome. A relatively short but sweet journey. Perhaps, the perfect gold was the friends we made along the way.

流程不算长，美术配音什么的都还不错，剧情上个人感觉也没有什么问题。

Cute Cute Cute! It's been a while since I finished it, and omgg do I still think about it all the time. It's a relatively short VN but has good pacing and spectacular writing for both characters. There are a handful of lines that I think about on the regular, or I've referenced at some point.
