This is genuinely an incredible game. I got every ending and it was worth seeing them all. The story and humor are very cute and enjoyable. The Characters, especially Merdeka really grew on me going through the different routes. 10/10, would recommend to everyone, especially at that price.

I am Merdeka's #1 fan. This game was wonderful! The art, music, and writing are SO GOOD. There were several moments when I burst out laughing because they really nailed the dry humor. The platforming was frustrating, but also only kind of relevant. I guess I get why it's there, but its not really a reason I would recommend it. This project has heart and soul to the nines and I would encourage anyone who loves good characters to give this a shot. I got through 9 of the 11 endings, and they all felt additive!

Ugh, where do I even start? It’s pretty hard to try to review an indie game of this caliber with a thumbs-down. The characters are fun, the graphics are fantastic, the humor is great, and the story is original and surprising. The idea of multiple endings and branching paths…well, there’s a purpose behind it, sometimes get it right, sometimes not so. But… it’s not the game that’s advertised on the Steam page—or at least not the one I’d imagined in my head reading the content and watching the videos. And please don’t get me wrong! I’m not judging the game for what it should be (in my opinion), but I am going to be a bit critical of what it claims to be—and isn’t. For one thing, the game isn’t just short… it also feels like it ends abruptly. There’s an intention behind the changes, but they aren’t enough either. According to the page, it seems like every decision you make matters and that everyone acknowledges what you’ve done—and… in reality, for all intents and purposes, aside from one situation and a couole of jokes, there are minimal variations. I found that part quite disappointing. On the other hand, the gameplay, while not amazing, isn’t bad… until the unbearable golf section. I simply don’t understand that artistic decision. It’s not that it’s horrible… it just doesn’t fit, it breaks the flow, you end up fed up with it, and even the final boss battle involves golf. In the end, you’re left with a bittersweet feeling. I wish it had been a full-fledged platformer or a visual novel, but the hybrid is very odd and I just can’t quite get into it. I started out excited, and four hours later, finished with a meh.

Excellent game, totally had me absorbed for the entirety of sitting I played it in. Relatively short but it has a very tight narrative and a lot of fun puzzles / movement techs.
