Just go to the website and play it there with no issues fullscreen and with a gamepad. The selection of games is so much better as well. Still if this gets people interested in these games... awesome. There's some really great games to try out that many would pay a few bucks for on steam.
Collection of 46 different Atari like games with physics. Not bad.
Whoever made that review about how it doesn't work with Proton, there's a native Linux build now and it works great. Pretty fun collection
"Booting catridge"??? No clear way to exit the app besides alt-f4. Can't get controls to work properly on Steam Deck.
pemsa, ünlü PICO-8 fantezi konsolunun resmi olmayan bir araba klonudur. Yazarların izniyle bu konsol için geliştirilen Celeste, Slipways ve Hug Arena gibi bazı klasik oyuna eklenmiş. Deneyin keyifli.
This was actually a drag. 30% of the games flat-out don't work at all and you have to ALT-F4 to get out. Most of the games are complete tedium. I went through every game and found that the carom pool game was fun for 3 minutes. If you're bored and have no money, ok fine, but it's not really worth your time.

"pemsa" is a selection of ugly 2D retro pixelcrap games for the never-actually-existed "Pico-8" home console... like, they couldn't be bothered emulating real retro games so they had to make up their own?? The real retro games are already there! You don't need to make new ones! This is the gaming equivalent of infecting yourself with bubonic plague because that was so cool back in 1347. It's hip and retro, you wouldn't understand. This features really godawful, lazy pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. I know that's the "point" of this, but saying that, it's a terrible point to be making. What matters is that this looks bad because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at just a dozen or so concurrent players, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
