Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 23 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Same ♥♥♥♥ as the mobile version. But they did literally nothing to the game. Balance doesn't make sense either.
It's a pretty nice arcade basketball game but i hope the developer will add more character/team and location customization, steam unlock achievement, trading card, online match and etc... anyway I hope they add more in the future thats all! I mean looks like nba jam bit modern but would like to see some changes in the game like add more content and that you can customize your ball but I'll recommend it if you are interested into nba jam
Really great arcade-style basketball game. I'm always on the hunt for arcade-style sports games to play with friends on the sofa and PBA really hit the spot. A few more power ups rather than the electro dunk one would be great additions and a bit more thought into making 3-pointers more viable would really make this game great. I also can't help but think it would work a lot better as a 3v3 on the court. One issue I found was that the controllers sometimes disconnected for a second while playing and the game does not have an in-game 'select sides' option. This meant that once a controller disconnected, the game had to be restarted which was really frustrating and the reason why we eventually turned it off.
Are, um it probably needs to be more realistic and it should be NBA teams and players.Overall its not bad.
PBA Basketball Slam: Arcade Edition is a fast-paced, exaggerated take on basketball that deliberately steps away from simulation realism in favor of pure arcade spectacle. Developed and published by Ranida Games, the game draws clear inspiration from classic arcade sports titles of the 1990s, aiming to deliver immediate fun, high-energy matches, and over-the-top plays rather than strict adherence to real-world basketball rules. Built around the real Philippine Basketball Association, it combines recognizable teams and players with a cartoonish presentation that emphasizes excitement and accessibility above all else. At its core, PBA Basketball Slam: Arcade Edition focuses on simplified 2-on-2 full-court basketball where momentum and aggression are rewarded more than careful tactical play. Matches move at a brisk pace, with no fouls, stoppages, or complex rule systems to interrupt the flow. Players sprint up and down the court chaining passes, steals, and shots in quick succession, creating a constant sense of motion. One of the defining mechanics is the electrified meter that builds as players score and perform successful actions; once filled, it allows for powerful, flashy slam dunks that are nearly unstoppable and serve as dramatic turning points during games. This system keeps matches tense and competitive, as a single electrified run can quickly swing the score. The controls are intentionally straightforward, making the game easy to pick up even for players unfamiliar with basketball games. Shooting, passing, blocking, and stealing are mapped in a way that prioritizes responsiveness over precision, which suits the arcade philosophy but can sometimes feel unbalanced. Defense, particularly steals and blocks, can feel overly strong compared to shooting, occasionally leading to chaotic scrambles rather than smooth offensive plays. While this unpredictability adds to the arcade feel, it can also make matches feel inconsistent, especially for players trying to develop reliable strategies. One of the game’s strongest aspects is its suitability for local multiplayer. Designed with couch play in mind, PBA Basketball Slam: Arcade Edition supports up to four players locally and works well as a party game where quick matches and friendly competition are the main attraction. The inclusion of Steam Remote Play Together helps extend this experience online with friends, partially compensating for the lack of a dedicated online multiplayer mode. Cooperative play against AI or head-to-head matches with friends is where the game truly shines, as the exaggerated mechanics and sudden momentum shifts are most enjoyable when shared. Visually, the game embraces a stylized, colorful art direction that fits its arcade roots. Player models, animations, and courts are deliberately exaggerated, reinforcing the sense that this is not a serious simulation. Animations for dunks and special moves are flashy and satisfying, and the energetic sound design and commentary help maintain the game’s lively tone. While the production values are modest compared to big-budget sports titles, the presentation is cohesive and effective in delivering a playful basketball experience. The inclusion of real PBA teams adds an extra layer of appeal, particularly for fans of Philippine basketball. Recognizable team names and identities lend authenticity and local flavor, even though player individuality and deep roster mechanics are kept light. This balance allows the game to celebrate the league without burdening players with statistics, contracts, or simulation-heavy systems. However, beyond quick play, the overall content offering feels limited. There is a noticeable lack of varied modes, such as a robust tournament structure or long-term progression system, which can reduce replay value once the novelty wears off. As an Early Access title, the game has shown ambition but also reveals areas that feel unfinished or underdeveloped. Many players note the absence of promised features like deeper game modes, expanded customization, or refined balance updates. Without these additions, the experience can feel shallow over extended play, especially for solo players looking for long-term engagement rather than short bursts of fun. Overall, PBA Basketball Slam: Arcade Edition succeeds as a lighthearted, pick-up-and-play basketball game that prioritizes fun and accessibility over realism and depth. Its strengths lie in local multiplayer, fast matches, and its energetic arcade presentation, while its weaknesses stem from limited content, balance quirks, and the lack of a full online multiplayer system. For players looking to relive the spirit of classic arcade basketball—especially those with friends to play with or a fondness for the PBA—it offers an enjoyable and nostalgic experience, even if it falls short of becoming a fully fleshed-out sports title.
