It's a cute and fun game, but it gets repetitive too easily. Characters have not so many dialogues so they will repeat what they say, also you get into a relationship automatically so once you achieve that with a character you can't date any other character and you can't break up with them (nor divorce them if you marry them). Also it gets difficult to maintain the resort once you get many habitats, I'm currently in the last habitat of the second page of building and I'm just giving them water all day, the little creatures are not enough (though I don't know if they will give me another one but it is confirmed they don't help with the water yet). I have big hopes for this game since is still in development so for sure give it a try! Will go back when future updates get here.
Hadi kolay gelsin.
Unfortunately, I can't recommend this game in its current state. The beginning of story and how we appeared at the resort are so fast and confusing, main hero can't even reflect about it, other NPCs seem they doesn't even care who are we and how we've got here. Dialogues are shallow and NPCs don't show any unique human traits, and I don't even know why I should help them, because there's no connection between characters and the player. They don't have character and exist only as quest givers at this point. Also there's no proper introduction to the world around us, we don't get some hints how to play and what should player do, where we should go. Instead of missions on the newspaper it would be better to actually read town's newspaper, see some news and advices about resort, places and game mechanics. Like TV in Stardew Valley, but make it your own thing. For example, I couldn't find mines on my own, nobody said where to get silver ore and I found it only after discovering a small mines entrance on the map. Also I only played it about an hour and got too many achivements in my opinion. I don't recall any engaging music as well. I thought that animals would come on their own to our place, but they already have owners and sheep farm at the town, so why do they need my services? It would be logical to open resort near the big city or make another valid reason. In this type of game original story, that has something to say, atmosphere and engaging gameplay are the core, and I olny saw nice visuals (but they need some work in details and contrast, everything is kinda blending together) and some gameplay mechanics that appear out of nowhere (climbing and horse racing for example), it's not enough for this game to stick to me for now. I hope that developers of this game will figure things out and we'll see unique story made with love, care and knowledge, I don't want this game to become just one of the Stardew Valley clones with similar mechanics, it would be too sad.
Developed by Pixel Puffs and published by GameDev.ist, Pawsome Resort is a charming life simulation that combines animal care, farming, resort management, exploration, and light role-playing elements into an inviting pixel-art experience. Instead of relying on time pressure or demanding mechanics, the game encourages players to unwind as they build a peaceful retreat where animals can relax and thrive. Its premise centers on transforming a humble animal lodging into a flourishing resort while becoming an important part of the nearby community, creating a rewarding blend of creativity, progression, and wholesome storytelling. The heart of the game lies in caring for a growing collection of animal guests. Each visitor has individual needs that require attention, from keeping habitats clean to ensuring they are well-fed and comfortable. Looking after these adorable companions is more than a simple routine, as maintaining their happiness directly contributes to the success of the resort. The variety of animals available during Early Access keeps the experience engaging, while expanding facilities and improving accommodations provide a satisfying sense of progression. Rather than overwhelming players with complex management systems, the game introduces its mechanics gradually, making it approachable for newcomers while still offering enough depth to keep simulation enthusiasts invested. Beyond animal care, Pawsome Resort features a rewarding cycle of farming, crafting, and customization. Crops provide valuable resources that support both the animals and the resort itself, while crafting unlocks useful furniture, decorations, and equipment that enhance efficiency and improve the appearance of the property. Players are given plenty of freedom to personalize both indoor and outdoor spaces, allowing each resort to reflect individual creativity. This flexibility makes expansion feel meaningful, as every new building, decorative touch, or habitat upgrade contributes to a resort that feels truly unique. The surrounding world offers more than management alone. Pebble Town is populated with friendly residents who each have their own personalities, professions, and stories to tell. Building friendships unlocks quests and introduces players to a variety of characters, from skilled workers who support the resort to mysterious individuals connected to the game's unfolding narrative. Exploration extends beyond the town itself, rewarding curiosity with resources, discoveries, and story progression. The addition of a central mystery gives players a long-term objective that complements the relaxing gameplay, ensuring there is always another reason to continue exploring beyond daily responsibilities. Visually, the game embraces a colorful pixel-art style that perfectly matches its comforting atmosphere. Detailed environments, expressive character animations, and charming animal designs give the world plenty of personality without requiring demanding hardware. Dynamic weather, changing times of day, and gentle music further enhance the relaxing mood, creating an experience that feels welcoming from beginning to end. Every aspect of the presentation is designed to support the cozy nature of the gameplay, making even simple tasks like harvesting crops or decorating a habitat enjoyable. As an Early Access release, Pawsome Resort already provides a solid foundation while clearly outlining ambitious plans for future development. Additional animal species, expanded story content, seasonal events, new customization options, mini-games, and further gameplay systems are all intended to arrive over time. The developers have emphasized community feedback as an important part of the game's evolution, which gives players confidence that the experience will continue growing beyond its current state. Overall, Pawsome Resort succeeds as a relaxing management simulation that combines several popular genres into a cohesive and satisfying package. Animal care, farming, crafting, exploration, and town-building all complement one another without making the gameplay feel repetitive or overwhelming. Although some features are still awaiting implementation due to its Early Access status, the current experience already delivers an enjoyable balance of creativity, progression, and heartwarming charm. Fans of cozy simulation games and wholesome management adventures should find plenty to enjoy, with the promise of even more content making the resort's future look exceptionally bright. Rating: 8/10
Such a cozy and relaxing game! I've also played Stardew Valley, but I actually enjoyed this one more because you get to take care of animals. I also really like that there are both main quests and side quests, so there's always something to do. I definitely recommend it if you're looking for a cozy farming game <3
