Prices

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 24.71/day in the week to Aug 31 → 25.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
In Pathogenic, you are the disease. Experience a visceral 2D roguelike twin-stick shooter where you play as a lone parasite fighting a desperate war against the immune system. Your goal is simple: infect and conquer your human host.
To survive, you must adapt. Hunt down enemy cells, rip out their organelles, and graft them onto your own body. Evolve from a simple cell into a complex engine of destruction. Create powerful, game-breaking builds and become the ultimate pathogen.
Loot, graft, and assemble your parasite from dozens of unique organelles. Combine flagella for movement, mitochondria for power, secretors for ranged attacks, and spikes for melee combat. Chain organelle effects and discover powerful synergies to build an unstoppable disease vector.
Battle a diverse roster of enemies, from basic immune cells like macrophages and T cells to rival parasites such as tapeworms or protozoa. Formidable bosses are lurking deep within the host's organs.
Collect plasmid fragments to permanently upgrade your parasite's plasmid tree between runs. Each parasite will have it's own upgrade tree allowing for a range of builds to suit your preferred playstyle.
Navigate the procedurally generated organic landscape of the human body. Travel through distinct biomes like the branching pathways of the lungs, the pulsating chambers of the heart, and the complex neural network of the brain.
Our detailed, colorful world is powered by a soft-body physics simulation, giving every cell, enemy, and projectile a uniquely satisfying organic feel. The combination of hand-crafted design and procedural generation ensures endless variety - each run offers a fresh and challenging gameplay experience.

Reviews
There is a lot to like about this game. The artwork complements the theme really well without being over the top. And though its still a roguelite at heart, the mutation mechanic fits the genre incredibly well. The continual progression between levels, combined with the different classes you can become round out the title and keep things from getting stale early. And gameplay is fun. The devs obviously put a lot of thought and care into this project. So you might ask why I'm giving a negative review. And in a word: Difficulty I don't mind a challenge. I think games should challenge the player, and that skilling up should be rewarding. But I don't think there is any level of skill that would suffice for this games later levels. The enemies are fine, but when you combine them with tight spaces and then throw terrain impediments on top of it at high speed, its simply too much to even react to. Plants will grab and possibly damage you, geysers are spraying poison or simply push/pulling you around the space, all while you are supposed to be dodging a hail of fireballs, laser beams, and explosions. It doesn't sound too bad, but high speed, cramped spaces and terrain obstacles pretty much demand static maps that players can learn to navigate. Even if you can one-shot every enemy, procedurally generated maps ensure that its more about luck than skill. The devs need to work on either balancing it better or slowing the game down

Def worth the hype. Great roguelike with tons of options. Must buy especially for 10 bucks.
Vraiment superbe ! 😄💊
I don't fully recommend it yet This game is so cool conceptually, and personally, I love playing it. But there are issues. The balancing is horrible. The first 2 areas are genuinely kindergarten levels of easy. And then you get to that third area? ♥♥♥♥ you, and your mama and her mama too. The difficulty just spikes, and you will not be ready for it. Additionally, the hitboxes are wack. I have personally died from a hit to my flagellum, which are impossible to control. They quite literally flow around randomly if you're not mid dash/sprint. Lastly, the lung bosses are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. The 2 I've seen are a full screen coverage like 30% of the time. I had a build that shredded each room in the lung in under 10 seconds, then the boss brought me down from 11 max hp to 3. Entering heart, the arbitrary blood rivers ripped me straight into enemies or their attacks, as well as delivering a melee enemy from off screen to finish me before it was humanly possible to register its existence. I like this game a lot. The combos and the mechanics are innovative and fun. But fix it please.
finally, a game that dares to ask "what if gungeon didn't suck"
Too restricting, too limited. First, the upgrades are very lame. There are a very few of them and most of them are useless. Three runs in a row I basically got like 1 or 2 weapons that was somewhat usable. Every other upgrade was just some kind of worthless upgrade that literally helped nothing during my run. Second, you can't build however you see fit. I have arrived at the liver level with my build, that I used to obliterate everything up until that point. At the first liver level I died at the first encounter. My weapons literally were dealing no dmg to the enemies.
Pathogenic is a roguelike twin-stick shooter that lets you customize a little bug as you seek to infect a careless researcher who dropped the test tube that you where living in at the lab. It reminds me a lot of Psycho Starship Rampage, if you enjoyed that game I am sure you will enjoy this one. What a great little game! Another developer proving once again that you don't need to have a AAA budget to make a game that will give you hours of enjoyment. Even not on sale I would recommend you to pick this up as it is fairly cheap even at full price. At the time of this review I've already logged in 24 hours of game play unlocking all of the different
有潜力,但是输出太刮痧了,我宁愿敌人翻三倍也希望输出能翻个倍,起码割草也比刮痧强
