Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 24.71/day in the week to Aug 31 → 25.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
In Pathogenic, you are the disease. Experience a visceral 2D roguelike twin-stick shooter where you play as a lone parasite fighting a desperate war against the immune system. Your goal is simple: infect and conquer your human host.

To survive, you must adapt. Hunt down enemy cells, rip out their organelles, and graft them onto your own body. Evolve from a simple cell into a complex engine of destruction. Create powerful, game-breaking builds and become the ultimate pathogen.

Loot, graft, and assemble your parasite from dozens of unique organelles. Combine flagella for movement, mitochondria for power, secretors for ranged attacks, and spikes for melee combat. Chain organelle effects and discover powerful synergies to build an unstoppable disease vector.

Battle a diverse roster of enemies, from basic immune cells like macrophages and T cells to rival parasites such as tapeworms or protozoa. Formidable bosses are lurking deep within the host's organs.

Collect plasmid fragments to permanently upgrade your parasite's plasmid tree between runs. Each parasite will have it's own upgrade tree allowing for a range of builds to suit your preferred playstyle.

Navigate the procedurally generated organic landscape of the human body. Travel through distinct biomes like the branching pathways of the lungs, the pulsating chambers of the heart, and the complex neural network of the brain.
Our detailed, colorful world is powered by a soft-body physics simulation, giving every cell, enemy, and projectile a uniquely satisfying organic feel. The combination of hand-crafted design and procedural generation ensures endless variety - each run offers a fresh and challenging gameplay experience.

what a nice game to game on my apple book as there are not that much games available. well you are starting as a bacteria and imagine yourself intruding inside a human body like what covid 19 did to me. ok good game
Simple, easy, low entry point fun. Has interesting character selections with cool strategy/build decisions. I got this game then got sick, so I guess it's working!

Ignoring the playful opening and ending, the game itself is actually quite good. The excellent combat feel and controls, deep build variety, and the interactions between different organelles kept me playing the DEMO for nearly 100 hours. However, the main problem lies in the beginning and the ending, which weaken the sense of purpose built throughout the game. The UI, music, and overall system design consistently create the feeling of a professional biological experiment, but the story does not follow through with that direction, creating a clear disconnect between the gameplay and the narrative. Especially the virus editing interface: the body temperature, pulse, and various biological parameters made me believe that I was participating in a simulation of a human environment and conducting virus research. The process of modifying virus traits, observing results, and optimizing builds feels like a serious scientific experiment. However, the opening cutscene already tells the player that they are simply a virus that accidentally entered a human body. After spending hours researching, modifying, and evolving the virus, what exactly are all those experimental parameters supposed to represent? The game systems and the narrative never truly connect. The way the infection happens also feels inconsistent with the atmosphere the game establishes. An experiment involving such a dangerous virus has researchers handling samples without any protective equipment in an extremely simple environment. The vial breaks, and the virus enters the body through a wound on the ankle. This feels more like an accidental disaster than the failure of a professional biological experiment. The ending makes this disconnect even stronger. The host eventually dies in a brutal way, or even becomes something similar to an infected creature, leaving the player-controlled virus as a threat to humanity. This feels completely opposite to the biological research and experimental atmosphere that the game has built throughout the experience. I think this concept could have been explained in a much better way. For example, the game could be set in a near-future world where humanity is suffering from a highly aggressive supervirus. Scientists create artificial human environments to repeatedly cultivate, test, and evolve an engineered virus, with the goal of developing a "counter-virus" capable of fighting the original pathogen. The final step would be introducing it into a real human body, using one virus to fight another. This would explain why the player repeatedly enters human environments, experiments, fails, adapts, and evolves. It would also fit the roguelike structure of repeated attempts and progression. Compared with the current explanation of a simple accidental infection, this setting would better support the game's experimental systems and give the player's long-term effort a clearer meaning. Additionally, since there are very few games that combine this kind of biological theme with roguelike mechanics, this concept has a lot of potential. A more complete world-building approach would not only strengthen the current experience, but also provide more possibilities for future DLCs and expansions.
bağırsaktaki lanet solucanlar olmasa çok güzel oyun
I've played a LOT of roguelikes, and this one may be my favorite. It's definitely a bit more of a power fantasy than a super challenging game, but it's incredibly fun to see just how insane a build can get. The soundtrack is also amazing and really compliments the artstyle.
Addicting gameplay loop, kurzgesagt artstyle, banger OST, and crazy build variety. 10/10 for me.
好玩
its unique, its fun, what more would anyone want?
This game turned out to be a pleasant surprise, I did not expect to enjoy it so much. I think the developers could have sold it for twice the price they are asking. Excellent work by all involved in the development of this!
