About
Clover is a shell of a person, living an empty, isolating existence. While it struggles clumsily trying to figure out the basic aspects of its identity, its future seems like more of the same, with homelessness looming and no support from family or friends.
Lotus is an overachieving trust fund girl, beloved by those around her, while miserably drowning in boredom and empty relationships. She wants an escape.
And she knows about someone who might want it too. And if it doesn't, that doesn't matter — She'll make sure it does.
The two become hopelessly entangled as they embark on a morbid road trip to the Cobalt Belt, a gargantuan, anomalous zone where reality is suspended and return is all but impossible.
And if that doesn't kill them, Lotus has a hardware store built IED for guaranteed instant oblivion. Their fates were sealed the moment they met.
What freedom and joy can they claw back in the time they have left? How much pain will come with it?
_____
A linear visual novel. You cannot change the outcome, you can only watch.
Roughly 22K words of pain and manic longing. About 1-2 hours of reading.
Lively animated text effects to help convey the script's disordered, emotional turmoil.
A surreal and intense soundtrack from various artists. Gritty chaos paired with melancholy catharsis.
Moments of calm and reprieve amidst it all. There is some solace to be found alongside the intense pain and confusion.
A cleansing experience, like an industrial solvent for your soul.

for freaky transfems that loathe themselves and their husk but spitefully keep marching on.
Damn. What do you even put here? Yep. I think this story is the best depiction I've seen of the inner relationship with yourself. One side too tired to keep walking the husk, chronically dissociated to some degree. And the other rabid with hatred over what it has done to itself. All the advantages in life, given up for what? Just to keep suffering? Still refusing to take control of its life? Why cause itself this much pain? Is it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid? No hope // Must die. Whether Clover and Lotus actually are the same person is unclear, but it would give the story a tremendous symbolic value. At least for me, it portrays the exact relationship I have with myself, I even read this on the same funny stuff as Lotus. Whether that should frighten me, I'm not sure. I'm just happy to see a portrayal that accurately depicts the inner abusive relationship with yourself. An accurate depiction of something indescribable is rare but welcome. Thank you.
feels hyper-targeted to decimate a specific couple of genres of queer woman but even if that isn't you it's swinging competently with some heavy enough themes to at least get you with a glancing blow if any part of its premise seems appealing
made me feel quite a lot of confusing things. very well written, definitely worth being mindful of the content. rarely if ever felt like it was for shock value or spectacle in the way games like DDLC or Class of '09 do.
quick reader so i plowed thru it. insanely good piece of queer/transfem art. can see bits of my gf in this, parts she i know she would relate to. soundtrack and sound design both incredibly good. atmosphere on point. loved the worldbuilding tbh. 10/10 would rec as long as the cws aren't an issue
As a trans girl in her first week of HRT, I cannot tell you how much this game meant to me. But, even if I wasnt trans, I would be here, saying the same. This game touched my heart so much, in the bad and good way, I cannot stop thinking about this. Maybe Top 5 best games Ive ever experienced. Theres not any important decision, nor any interaction with the player, nor several endings. Why? Cause this masterpieces does not need that. Wish I could erase my mind, just to play this again without knowing what it actually is. If you like visual novels, this might be my favourite.
highly recommended to empty vessels and evil women of all stripes
One of the most harrowing things i've ever read. It's Peak. I cannot recommend this game except to an insanely miniscule group of people. Those people would all love this game. This was something i played with a group of friends and we were all losing our mind the entire time. It was incredible. This game is beautiful.
This game ruined my life and I wish I could play it for the first time over and over
As a fan of Lunaticker games I'm glad to buy this one, I love being uncomfortable and yet some how comforted by the art and story, I truly love my ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up yuri, keep cooking so I dont starve.
