Fun little puzzle game with a somewhat sad story. From what I made out, essentially you are a partical physicist who sneaks into a storage garage to play on a subatomic world simulator. In this simulation, you play as a down quark and you must solve puzzles prompted to you on screen, ensuring that you aren't annihilated or destroyed by other obstacles on screen. As you complete each puzzle, you learn more about what has happened in her (the physicist's life) and how she got to where she was at the start of the game and where she will go. After a certain number of puzzles, there is a cutscene relating to the present day, allowing the story to progress. Furthermore, you get to learn more about the particles and other phenomena on screen and as a physics nerd I found that very neat. The gameplay itself was kind of tough to get used to at first and as the levels became more complex, I did end up getting very frustrated. The game does offer a skip level option if one gets stuck but I was too stubborn to use it lol. Overall enjoyed the game, but it is admittedly not the easiest to get into.

Particular, atom altı parçacıkların gizemli dünyasında geçen, arcade-aksiyon ve bulmaca oynanışının benzersiz bir kombinasyonuna sahip bir oyundur.

"Particulars" is a genuine yet poorly done attempt to make a narrative driven selection of arcade minigames with a rather poor subatomic particle theme. And you ask the kids of today what kind of game they want to play and they won't say "Pokemon", they'll say "Subatomic particles!!!". I'm kidding. They will not say this. Nobody will say this. What do you do in the game? Plod through really badly written dialogue framed with illustrations from "baby's first Wacom tablet" (they're really not good) and play really poorly done arcade minigames, mostly shooters. Or don't... people just picked this up because it has trading cards. The graphics aren't great. That's understandably be turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. The developer was charging $15 USD for this. Yeah, 15 bucks, I know, I know. Delusions of grandeur? I guess they had to pay off that second hand Wacom tablet somehow? Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It's a nice gesture for the game to be given away for free, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
Never loaded.
Story and gameplay are disconected with each other. Not worth anyones time. My rating 4/10, not recommended.
So far, this game is delightfully intriguing and tricky. It's difficult, but that doesn't arise in a frustrating way (e.g., not due to control scheme problems). The difficulty is in learning how to finesse the controls to fit the physics and developing useful strategies. The story is thorougly tempting. So far, it's short cutscenes along with between-level quotes from NPCs about your character that reveal snippets of your personality, family history, etc. This doesn't seem like it's going to be the sort of game where you're making decisions or changing the course of a story, but instead one where you'll dive deep into the sort of person who might-possibly-maybe choose (?) to become a subatomic particle (?!).
когда я увидел эту игру я обоссался... но только разрабу в рот ♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥
