Not a horror neither a comedy. Goal is to find your car. You just run around trying to interact with every car while collecting keys and other bonuses. Some random monsters pop out during gameplay, sometimes they spawn just where you stand... Game is a mobile port and it's a buggy mess. Every time I find the right car, game freezes. Visuals are too bright and doesn't have proper atmosphere for a horror. To be honest not very enjoyable. Just skip it, not worth the hassle.

I'll cut this game some slack since it just came out and all, but at least until it gets updated, (I can only assume) I can't call it a good game. I can see what Parked In The Dark is trying to get at here, but it just doesn't end up being programmed very well. Which goes into my first major flaw: It's very unpolished. The controls feel very clunky, as well as the deformed E.T. nutcase who stalks you. There are even times where the game glitches up and even softlocks itself from time to time, forcing me to restart the game. (This has happened more times than not) Lastly, this game has some serious rendering issues. Literally, whenever I move, some of the textures glitch up or even disappear for a second before it comes back. (Including the deformed E.T. nutcase himself) In terms of programming itself, it's pretty unbalanced. The deformed E.T. nutcase's method of attacking you is kind of RNG, as he can just outright teleport anywhere in the map, including times where he spawns directly in front of you without any warning, instantly killing you. (This has also happened consistently) There was this one time where he just killed me all of a sudden, and I was sure I wasn't anywhere near this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Now, the power-ups. These can be helpful, like deducting or adding seconds to your timer depending on Arcade or Survival mode, as well as the clues the game gives you to help find your car. However, my big problem with these upgrades comes with Survival Mode. Most of the time when I hit a time power-up in Survival, it ended up still deducting the time. Which shouldn't happen since the whole point of this mode is to last the most amount of time possible. I also really hate getting the speedy power-up. This actually feels more like a power-down to me, because like I already said, the deformed E.T. nutcase can just show up at any moment, and thanks to those rendering issues I also mentioned, that could easily get me killed in a finger snap. Now for the extra stuff. I would egg on the scariness of the game, but judging from the game's happy-go-lucky description, as well as official website, it doesn't seem like it was trying to be, so I'll let that slide. However, one thing I absolutely hated while playing this game, was the music. I got ridiculously tired of hearing that same 3-second percussion loop over and over and over again. I'm being dead serious, that drove me insane. It's one of the main reasons I stopped playing this. Let me be clear that while I think this game is fairly poor, it's far from terrible. But the clunky gameplay, the unbalanced mechanics, the unpolished glitches, and the annoying music are what make it so. If you do update the game, this is what I recommend you do. I give this game 2 parked cars out of 5 Edit: I've played it a bit more to get the rest of the achievements, which had me find another major problem. I noticed that if you get more keys than the seconds you have, it acts as if there was a minute, therefore it reset to 0:59, and counted down from there. What it should've done was stay as 0. Edit Edit: I made a guide for this game because boredom https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2219497781
This games needs improvement but so far so good. Bugs: 1. Sometimes when I press my spacebar the cursor locks in and I cannot move it again, (maybe a bug) 2. The game crashed when I encountered the watcher (maybe a bug again) Add features: 1. Tone down the brightness of the game so that it would be much scarier 2 .Change the bm to suit the mood 3. Add a story to the game 4. Add a tutorial to the game so that it will be friendly for the new comers 5. Make the watcher much scarier
jogo legal da pra passar as horas se divertindo recomendo pode baixar :)
Parked In The Dark is a badly made mobile app that's been dumped on Steam, but not as a cash grab, because it's completely free. Just because something is free, however, doesn't mean it's good. Stubbing your toe is also free, for example, and arguably that's more fun than this mobile app. The idea of this first person "adventure" game is you're in a low poly parking garage with low poly models of cars, and you forgot where you parked your car, so you need to go collect keys, clues and boosters that speed you up so you can better search for your car. It doesn't help you have no idea what your own car looks like... frankly if your brain is working that badly, you really shouldn't be driving a car in the first place. Anyway, the parking garage isn't dark, so perhaps the game should just be called "Dark". Also, you're chased around by some weird demented brown alien thing. That makes sense. This mobile app is extraordinarily badly made, with low poly lazy phoned in art and assets. The real problem is that this is completely buggy to the point of being unplayable, with serious crashes and lockups, it's easy to get mouselocked on the menu, forcing you to quit and restart the game. The game doesn't remember the resolution settings you put in, either, so you need to reconfigure the graphics every time you launch the mobile app. Way to go, mobile devs, making gaming worse for everyone. Don't take my word on how bad this is... there's an achievement for finishing the game, which just takes a few minutes (plus a few more getting it to run properly because of all the bugs), and only 22% of people decided to go that far... and the game is free! It's unclear if this is just a joke game or someone seriously wanted this to be a game that people would want to play... and also irrelevant. All that matters is, despite being free, it's garbage and not worth the download.
I dig it. It definitely has problems i.e. mouse stops tracking at points where you have to pause the game for it to recognize you moving the mouse to look around, and one play through it absolutely refused to let me in the car. The creature is a lot more scary when it spawns then at any other point when that homie spawns with that laugh right next to you, my god dang chest about had a heart attack. The death scene is a lot less impactful then the spawning of that psycho. if the game doesn't glitch tho it works well and is a really neat arcade type game. my full play through here: https://youtu.be/yVHfNKDgCFw
Before I played Parked In The Dark, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
