A really fun game and don't be fooled by it's cute appearance! The puzzles are every bit as challenging as you'd want. Have a notepad ready to jot stuff down to help solve puzzles. Can't wait to play more!
I'm not much of a puzzle player but picked the game up as the art style looked so cool, haven't got very far but so far its really polished and the painting is a cool mechanic. I'll probably keep playing later when I'm more in the mood for puzzles though. PS: I played on the Steam Deck and it works flawlessly (besides the glyphs (emojis?) not loading for the forest sign).
I am obsessed! The coloring aspect is so fun, and its such a good little puzzle game that will keep you thinking! I've gotten up to where I can't find pink, but have found the other 7 colors before pink, and it's so hard! The character's don't give any hints, and I love that! I am frustrated though xD Had to take a break for a bit, but 10/10 game, would buy for kids and adults alike!

Allright i've played it for a while now and i did not think i was a puzzle game guy but i just changed my mind, this if really fun. I liked the various levels of puzzles, some of them made me have to think for a while and some where simpler. The artwork is something new to me and really like it. I would love to have some more small details like the birds expressions and that they have like small sticks as if a person is controlling them, they made me giggle for a bit. I think some more of these details would make it even better. All in all a great game and well worth a "cup of coffee money" for having a fun time!
If it doesn't move, paint it! Paperlands is a very enjoyable puzzle adventure with environmental and logic puzzles. Coloring objects is used in interesting ways in the puzzles, but also it can be done just to embellish the environments for fun, which makes the gameplay even more entertaining. Most of the puzzles are quite easy, and the game provides plenty of hints, but there were a couple of places where I was stuck for a while and eventually solved the puzzle by trial and error. One reason was that I misinterpreted the meta-hint about "houses of colors" and thus completely overlooked one way to obtain hints, but even after that, I wasn't able to find any hints for one or two trickier puzzles. However, even when it wasn't clear what I was supposed to do, it was still fun to solve the puzzle by experimenting and figuring out how I could interact with the environments. The logic puzzles were fun too. One small related issue is that, same as with hints, sometimes it's too easy to miss some story bits when doing things out of order.
I fell in love with this game instantly when I first saw the demo, and the full game showed that impression to be correct! The puzzles are enjoyable, logical, and for the most part have very clear hints available. No complaints, and I feel I got my money's worth.
