Was mostly alright kind of mid 3D platformer but the Nugget levels make me nauseous too much with all the spinning. Not finishing this because of that which is a shame because I 100%'d the game up to that point.
Great little forgiving platformer if you're looking for some fun.
This is a good platformer. It's a lot bigger than I thought it would be! I was waiting for this game to come out for a very long time, and the wait was pleasantly rewarded. The controls aren't perfect, but they are forgiving enough to adapt to (at least I feel like I've gained some skill). The pacing is pretty even, and the levels don't get hard too quickly. I definitely recommend it!
Very solid little platformer — easy enough and not too long to get boring. 100%-ing it is a bit difficult because sometimes you’ll let a couple of yellow buttons slip and there are some well-hidden parts, and redoing a whole level can be tiresome. Aside from those minor complaints, for the price alone I'd recommend it easily.
It's so cute and easy enough to play without getting enraged but also just difficult enough that it is a challenge. I love it and want more levels!
Solid Banjo inspired game, it needs more upgrades and better/fast movement. Might scratch your N64 collect-a-thon itch, but it is still a rough diamond.
The game starts out all right, with a pleasant charm, small levels and good music. But as I progressed and the levels got larger it became clear that they became too large and very empty, at least from a Completionist perspective. Having buttons be the only collectable aside from eggs quickly became an annoying chore having to run around searching for side areas only to find 1-3 buttons tucked away. By the time I reached world 3, buttons served no purpose other than needing to collect them for the achievements and by the end of the game I had 1200 buttons with nothing to spend them on. I'd say the later parts of the game suffers from the Yooka-Laylee approach, having enormous areas that doesn't reward the player with anything worthwhile for exploring. If you have an itch for playing something similar to Banjo-Kazooie and want to listen to music that Grant Kirkhope made, then try it out. If you're like me and like to 100% complete games, then you might not enjoy this one.
The game has a cute Idea and a cute art-style but sadly the game suffers in many departments. It is way to easy and levels are way to simple. On top of that the levels are way to big so you have to walk for ages. The game is also riddled with bugs, especially in those sections where you just play as nugget. The world has tons of gaps and clipping issues and sometimes thing just bug out. That you have to collect every single coin in every level is also just very boring. If you just want a very simple 3D Platformer with a cute artstyle, you can get this game when it is on sale. If you want anything more there are definitely better options.
Slept on the demo, but it's actually a super fun little 3D Platformer, with a good moveset, some great level designs and surprisingly challenging sections. I ended up getting 100%, took about 8 hours. Art style is nice, reminds me of Tearaway. The voice acting is a mixed bag, the writing is very generic, but a couple lines did get a chuckle out of me. Blinky is the best character, I wish he was in it more. I encountered bugs, but nothing egregious.
A fun romp through a charming arts & crafts world. If you're a big 3D platformer fan, give this a shot. There's plenty of interesting characters and simple but well executed level design. It's not gonna blow you away, but I think you'll have a good time.
