https://youtu.be/RQDWuGqrzVI https://rumble.com/v2jnhli-panic-gameplay-indie-horror-full-game.html I only gave it a thumbs up because this is an indie dev but, personally, I feel that this game is missing something. And by something I mean a lot. Maybe an interesting story or some more immersive and polished gameplay will make this game feel different, but in this state it feels rushed and not really fun at all. This should've been a free game imo.
I'm about to get a refund now and I feel bad about that cause we need more indie devs taking chances and making great horror games, but the walking speed did me in. At first I was dealing with it. When the guy says he was sedated I was like ok it will be better later, but then we get to the forest and nothing changes. Thats when i bowed out. It needs that simple fix or people just won't play it.
I'm mixed on this one. The walkin' speed is just oop. Not a fan of walkin' as slow as molasses. The forest section where we get a weapon was the last straw for me. The hip firin' is just not it. I appreciate that the game has voice actin' though. Gameplay here: https://youtu.be/UBxVTYuGyvs
gameplay: https://youtu.be/tpWKOvpo8po The game is actually quite interesting. If you like a challenge and like to find different kind of paths it's a great game to play. But furthermore it is nothing special. The Developer created this game on his own and did his best to make the game cool and awesome. For sure there are some bugs that need to be worked out and maybe the running can be changed a little bit. But the Voice acting is actually really cool and awesome. It improves the game a lot. It's not a long game. It takes about 1.5 hours to find and finish all the endings. The complete end is a bit confusing, but if the game is doing okay we might get a sequel. SO LET'S HOPE Thumbs up for you my friend! keep going with the good work and keep on improving.
I like the idea for the game. The voice acting and graphics are actually pretty decent. However moving slower than my motivation to get up in the morning, was not it. That automatically made me not want to play but i tried to stick it out. Glitching when going up and down the stairs was a bit nauseating, but that could be solved with bit more work on the game. Not being able to aim at the beasts in the forest led to me dying several times, along with being significantly slower than they are. Overall, I appricate that the developer brought a cool idea to life, it just needs a little more work. imma give it a thumbs down only because i would not recomend paying for it as of right now.
This feels like pre-alpha gameplay. A lot need to be changed.
The simplest thing to put someone off of a game, is slow movement. I tried for more than 10 minutes just to move around the top and bottom floor of the house. Graphics are solid, layout of the home is pretty and unique, but the slow movement will make me rage quit myself against an oncoming truck.
Apparently 4 shots doesn't kill the beast. I don't get it. Needs a better story line. The beginning was exciting and then it died.
