Palace Perils

Palace Perils is a hand-drawn, narrative-driven platformer with roguelite elements. You’ll play as Ser Sideshow, a knight whose true story has never been told. Bounce and Blitz your way through an ever-changing castle as you rebel against the evil King’s poltergeists and propaganda in Ser Sideshow's latest single-player adventure!

In order to protect those who live within The Kingdom, you must fight back. Ricochet off every wall. Chain attacks between enemies. Blast your way through illusions created by The Kingdom’s sinister mage, The Scarlett Sentry.

But beware! After every attempt, The King himself writes slanderous headlines about our hero. Those newspapers are easy to access in the archives — yet something is amiss. Why do modern day history books say you and The King were the best of buds?!

Luckily, a Ser Sideshow-obsessed punk rocker named Rory is tracking down the hidden truth about your adventures. History may be written by the victor, but this chapter isn’t finished just yet. Rory won’t stop until The Kingdom’s lies are finally exposed, and the real story of Ser Sideshow is uncovered.
