"Paddle Flap" is a bit of unambitious garbage that looks like a mobile app, which is being too kind because even mobile apps can have 3D graphics lately... this looks more like an Adobe Flash reject. What do you do in the game? This is a lame Pong ripoff meets pinball as you play Pong, but your paddle is fixed so it flips left or right a bit like a pinball paddle. That's it, that's all there is to this junk. In fact, even more amusing about the game itself is that the developer thought people would give him money for this. This is for all intents and purposes a mobile app... it doesn't matter if this was ported to PC before or after the app store release, or even if this didn't even make it to the app stores. This is built for the absolutely lowest of all gaming platforms and must be judged as such... it's not going to give you a cutting edge PC gaming experience. That alone is enough to disqualify this from any recommendation. We don't spend thousands building gaming rigs so that we can pretend they're iPhones and play iPhone games and mobile apps. This feels more like a tech demo or a project smacked together hurriedly to try make a kind of minimum viable product just good enough to pass the developers unambitious idea and shove it into Steam Direct to see if you can actually pay and publish junk through Steam Direct. Yeah, you can. Is this good for gamers? Nope. This game features very lacklustre minimalist "art" for graphics instead of anything remotely contemporary. I'm sure the "developer" thought this would come across as "artistic", but it doesn't, it comes across as "really lazy". Yes, contemporary 3D graphics take a lot of time and effort to create. That doesn't mean it's okay not to bother! Developers must try to understand that gaming is a visual medium, and gamers spend a lot of money on high end gaming rigs for a reason. And that reason is not so they can look at lazy, phoned-in half efforts like this. This wasn't designed for typical widescreen monitors, and, carrying on with a mobile-centric design, it's locked to mobile phone 9:16 aspect ratio. It won't look right on modern PCs as a result of this bizarre decision to publish a PC game that doesn't conform to the standard display form factors. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. There's no initial download price, but the developer was charging $1 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It seems like a nice gesture for the game to have no up-front cost anymore, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. This is also a bit of a slap in the face to anyone who showed enough questionable judgement to pay money for this... nobody got refunded. In terms of public reception, this failed. There's over 130 million unique gamers visiting Steam every month. SteamDB showed the game peaked at [b]only 2 concurrent players[/b]... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? I think you should give this one a miss. Although it's free, your time and storage are valuable resources, and the market is filled with superior options.

A fun and casual game that can be played in quick rounds, and has easy-to-learn but satisfying gameplay! I was also pleasantly surprised to discover features like new themes and tunes that could be unlocked with in-game currency. Now I just need to keep improving my hand-eye coordination ...

Цель – провести мячик как можно дальше, маневрируя между препятствиями, требующими быстрой реакции и хорошего чувства ритма. Визуальный стиль минималистичен, но приятен глазу. Цвета яркие, а анимация плавная, что создаёт комфортную атмосферу, даже когда играешь продолжительное время. Саунд-дизайн также неплох – ненавязчивая музыка и звуковые эффекты хорошо вписываются в геймплей. Тем не менее, стоит отметить, что игра может быть довольно сложной. Нужно время, чтобы привыкнуть к управлению и научиться координировать движения обеих лопастей. Но именно этот челлендж и мотивирует продолжать играть и улучшать свой результат. Единственное, что можно было бы улучшить, – это разнообразие визуальных тем и, возможно, добавление каких-нибудь бонусов или power-up'ов, чтобы немного разнообразить геймплей. В целом, "Paddle Flap" – отличная игра для тех, кто ищет простую, но увлекательную аркаду, которая поможет скоротать время и проверить свои навыки координации.

When originally downloading I assumed this game was some sort of take on the classic game of pinball. However, what I received can only be described as something you'd play during school [i](on one of those unblocked games sites)[/i]. If that's something that potentially interests you then by my guest and have fun playing. But for me? The game was just way too generic and repetitive to enjoy. Not to mention, but the way the ball bounces sometimes makes lining up certain shots impossible. This alone is incredibly frustrating. But on top of everything else this put a nail in the coffin for my recommendation
