You're outnumbered, low on ammunition and the paranoia sets in. This is an action horror-world where enemies get power-ups and you don’t.

I definitely recommended this game to anyone who loves to have that buzz at their fingertips. The constant need to refrain from blinking. The sitting at the edge of your seat, hoping your next breath won't distract you from what might lie just ahead. For a simple game with simple mechanics, it takes those few traits and cranks it up to 11. The music, the silence, the lack of ammunition... It all plays a part as wearing you down while the game continues to grow more difficult with every victory. I believe what the developers set out to do with this creation was executed flawlessly. Concise and ruthless would define this experience perfectly. Attempt a go at OVERWHELM if you truly love a challenge that won't take too much of your time... Or will it?
OVERWHELMING.
The camera operator was chugging red wine before the game started
can't play this game. it keeps crashing 30 seconds in every time, no idea why. I meet the specs. tried reaching the dev support email, I've never received a response. devs, fix your game or give me my money back
Better turn on assist mode, so it can assist the developer in making better movement next time.
Originally reviewed on Dragon Quill. Comments are enabled there. A horroresque action platformer where you infiltrate a den of monsters and everything gets worse every time you beat a boss. You die in one hit and enemies appear randomly, so everything is extremely tense. It also has an interesting mechanic where beating a boss is only half the challenge of the area; you then have to bring the MacGuffin back to your base while navigating past the new and improved enemies, which in many cases is actually harder than the boss fight itself. I found it decently engaging, but unfortunately it decided save points are for losers and if you die you have to start over from the beginning, which is just tedious and frustrating padding. This is especially bad when the level layout is fixed so you don’t get any variety there like you would in roguelikes, but enemy spawns are random so you still can’t be fully prepared. On the one hand I respect the obvious intent to prevent you from getting too complacent, but on the other hand it is really frustrating to trip at the finish line because a bug jumped into me from offscreen.
incredible game about teaching you not to hesitate
O jogo é incrível, mesmo com os graficos simples, passa um cenario e som ambiente muito imersivo. Um grande jogo para um pequeno preço.
Full of paranoia-induced adrenaline. Fun!
