I play a lot of gacha. This one seems nice. Very fun, a lot to do, and the art style is really attractive to me. There's a lot of great hand-drawn art in this game but its general aestetic is also nice. The combat is pretty simple but fun enough. Exploring is neat. However, the main draw is customizability. It's really expansive compared to a lot of other stuff on the market. Both for your individual characters and the 'private room' you can decorate. Of course, it has gacha mechanics, but it doesn't seem unreasonable to me yet. Give it an hour or two and drop it if you don't like it.

a very cozy and super cute MMORPG, all the designs from environments, characters, clothes, accessories and weapons are cute and funny, everythings are neat and beautiful, the players also usually has funny and creative activity. oh the songs are also outstanding for settle into the game. from me it only has one drawback: even though players are everywhere but this game doesnt have a coop team up feature. you can meet your friends but you cannot team up / join as one group with your friend, when they hit an enemy and enter a battle room, you can see them and even buff and heal them up but you cannot see the enemies they are fighting so as a chat apps and meet up with friends this game is totally perfect 11/10
I still don't know what's going on in this game because I just play it in the background. As long as no one forces me to grind or shoves donation banners in my face, I'm fine with the way things are right now.
its cute, but has some text issues and a janky control system that i hope will be fixed in the future
very cute and relax game
Overfield is a very cute game with a very interesting gameplay loop, and that is to sate your fixation of exploring every nook and cranny to see that "100%" on every single aspect this game has to offer. Everything else revolves around that and quite well might I add. To be honest it took me a while to actually grasp how to do things it could be bad conveyance on the part of the game or perhaps I'm just slow to pick up on things. But from the start everything is there for you to do and unlock. It's fairly easy once it all clicks. Problem is if it took me a while to figure it out, others might find themselves in the same situation and just stop playing. Otherwise here's what else I can say about Overfield: Combat - The combat is easy enough to understand, each character has their one unique moveset and they all fall into categories so you can share equipment with the same type of characters. It's a team of 3 where you only control one. You can only control another character on your team should your "Leader" die in battle or if you change "Leaders" out of combat. Exploration - There's multiple maps with lots to do and so much to collect. After you've gotten everything from normal exploration you will have to do some parkour if you really want to get that 100% completion. Resources respawn and so does equipment chests so you don't have to worry about grinding for gear with any sort of stamina system. There's also dungeons you can find and complete, no need to do them more than once unless you want to redo them for gear. But in my experience redoing these is not necessary. World events are like fun minigames you can do for rewards that you can use when you get into crafting. Crafting/Life Skills - Fishing, Cooking, Weaving, Handicrafting and I believe you can also craft furniture but that one i havent gotten into doing since there's so much more to do. But this Crafting loop is something else. It does use an energy system so you probably can't do everything crafting related over one weekend of nonstop processing and crafting. What I find fun about this one is that doing "Commissions" unlock stuff like hairstyles, outfits which really motivates you one way or another to get into this side of the game. Personal Space - Basically you get your own place, same as everybody else and you're free to decorate them however you want. Somebody had instruments like drums and a piano which you can actually interact with and make actual music. Somebody had floating items that guide players into rooftops and hidden unlockables around the place or just easier maneuverability around the area. You can also decorate the place with all your unlocked characters like you can place them on chairs and stuff after you've dolled them up of course for other players to see if they were to visit your area. Story/Quests - From Main Quest to Side Quest to Short Stories and Commissions. There is alot of getting to know each character in Overfield, wholesome and cute interactions. Many are voice acted and many are not either way it really helps making the world feel alive. In summary, Overfield offers you so many things and you dont even have to pay a single dime since the game is free to play. I haven't found a reason to spend yet but I definitely will once there's a character I like for Gacha. There's a lot more stuff to do, more places to see for me as of this review I have only 87% the first world and theres 3 more for me to say I've reached endgame in Overfield.
Didn't have much expectations coming into it, but it's surprisingly really fun. I love the exploration and by exploring more fields you can get new abilities like double jumping, more speed, and way to capture butterfly. The translation is bad tho, feels like it's translated by AI. Combat itself is pretty decent, my favorite character Cho has a perfect guard counter so I quite love it. The customization is also cute, tho I wish you can change the eyebrow color.
Its a cute game, its the gacha exploration type and its not very active but the graphics are gorgeous and the japanese VA is really cute and pleasant, the combat is cute and fun too. The game is extremely generous for a gacha, always giving pulls from playing, and i only played hypercasually over a few months missing a lot of events, but i got the characters i wanted and even managed to fully rank 5 a limited character with dupes, it also showers you with cosmetics so you can do a lot of customisation which is rare in a gacha and lastly you can play the game how you want you dont need the best units just play whos fun and cute, this is the last gacha ill ever play
