Over My Dead Pixel is a top down shooter where you command antivirus software to defend your computer from malware. Beware, firing your weapons will shrink your playspace. Maneuver deftly to avoid the enemies and the walls, as one single hit means restarting.

Originally a $4.99 game that went Free. A few minutes of entertainment, but it wasn't fun.
Trudna, ale bardzo satysfakcjonująca rozgrywka. Bullet hell w minimalistycznym wydaniu. Wciąga i nie frustruje.
I was one of the "fortunate" people who won the giveaway to this game on Reddit. After playing it for a while, I could already tell that there is no "end-game". Not saying that the game is bad, but I wish it had some campaign or story to it. The concept of the game is really good, and was laid out really well, but I would have been more into this game if it weren't for the lack of a campaign. This indie title is very good, and it is a good game that can unwind you from the Triple-A titles of today. Really like this game, but it could have been more redeemed by a story or campaign of some sort. Keep it up.

pretty cool game. 100% was challenging but fun. actually kind of has some build variety, kinda. leave spawners alive for a shooter build. just focus on dodging for a dodge build or just kill everything for a trynna keep your screen clean build. pretty good stuff. the walls getting smaller was lowkey tilting asf.
"Over My Dead Pixel" is a poorly made and objectively failed 2D top down retro pixel arcade shooter... the killer here would have been the quality, there's none. What do you do in the game? Pretty badly done top down shooting, with a gimmick that the arena shrinks a bit if you shoot. Yawn. This feels more like a tech demo or a project smacked together hurriedly to try make a kind of minimum viable product just good enough to pass the developers unambitious idea and shove it into Steam Direct to see if you can actually pay and publish junk through Steam Direct. Yeah, you can. Is this good for gamers? Nope. The graphics here are particularly awful, really lazy minimalist pixelcrap, so bad that it actually stands out as one of the worst looking games on Steam. Quite an accomplishment. It's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. This game is fairly dated at 6 years old... and even back then it looked old and busted compared to contemporary, professionally made 3D games of the same period. It looked bad then, it looks worse now. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. There's no initial download price, but the developer was charging $5 USD for this. Talk about delusions of grandeur. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It seems like a nice gesture for the game to have no up-front cost anymore, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. This is also a bit of a slap in the face to anyone who showed enough questionable judgement to pay money for this... nobody got refunded. In terms of public reception, this failed. There's over 130 million unique gamers visiting Steam every month. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 2 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Given that this free title won't increase your game collector count, is it worth your time to add it to your library? This is a "nope". While it won't necessarily cost you money, the time and hard drive space it requires could be better invested in one of the many higher-quality alternatives on Steam.

BEST GAME I'VE EVER PLAYED I can feel how meny hrs they have put into it 10/10 xdxdxdxdxd
So basically, take Undertale bullet hell mechanics, BUT, take the difficulty, and multiply it by 50.... 10/10 would break another monitor.
