Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.43/day in the week to Aug 25 → 3.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Enjoyed it for the length of the campaign (~5 hours), but this is basically it. You can keep on going with endgame content, but this really needs to be 50-100 levels to be enjoyable.

It’s pretty fun but it does lessen like RNG matters a lot, especially for an incremental game. There are long periods of little or no upgrades and you will be retrying the same challenge multiple times with no progress if you don’t just follow guides, which is what I ultimately did. The tower defense elements are surprisingly deep but again the randomness makes the experience way less engaging as it sometimes feels like the correct choices are punished. Anyways, it’s pretty fun and if you follow a guide it’s over fast enough that the frustrations don’t really get to you, 7/10.
クリア自体は時間かければだれでもという感じですが、 クリア後要素が難しい、実績全解除は結構がんばならいとあかんかな

A nice TD game with a simple, yet pretty pleasing, aesthetic. A nice tech tree as well which will let you tackle levels however you see fit, and after beating the final boss you're given a bit more replayability with the extra modes and restrictions for each of the 10 levels. Fun and short. Get it on sale and have a blast!
Had to try the game that inspired Sir, we have an Orc problem. You can definitely see the connection, yet this is its own beast. Level much smaller and to solve them feels more like puzzle, even though over time you beome overpowered and can hunt for the time trial or build challenges. Addictive game loop, lots of fun at such little price. Highly recommend.
I have been playing Tower Defense games for decades and it is one of my favorite genres. Nordhold was my favorite game of 2025 and Outhold may be in the running for 2026. The two games share some similarities and some differences. Nordhold is very visual and has lots of systems. Outhold in contrast is very simple visually, almost brutalist in its simplicity, and is more of a puzzle TD game. I am enjoying my time with it and hope the developers continue to work on it. I give it 4/5 stars in its current state. Some of the goals for unlocks are a bit confusing and the game does not hold your hand. In terms of value however, i picked this up for $7 and already got hours of fun out of it. If you love TD games check out the demo.
