We are stardust. Played Outer Wilds a few years back and it became my favorite game of all time. However, as I started to write this review, I noticed that I'm at a loss for words when talking about it. It's truly an experience that can only be conveyed through gameplay and the less you know about it, the better. I will say, though, that this game makes you think about life, the universe and everything. Unlike The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, it does not provide an answer to it. Rather, it's about realizing how wonderful it is to be able to wonder. And the fact that you can only truly experience it once is a integral part of its message. One that I'll carry with me forever. If you haven't yet, do yourself a favor and experience this.
I can't type too much, for I do not want to give too much away to the curious. Let's just say, I gained knowledge playing this game. In some ways, the whole game is about gaining knowledge...........and about flying.

The atmosphere it builds, even in the first moments of the game, using music, its ambient sounds and beautiful imagery is amazing and sets the tone for the rest of your adventure. The gameplay loop is so refreshingly different and the unique challenges of each aspect of the game give amazing variety and push your logical thinking. If you are considering buying the game, you absolutely should without reading more and risking spoilers. [b] GO IN BLIND. [/b] This game also ran beautifully on near-max settings on my laptop so do not fret about performance!
Incroyable. Le jeu bouscule tout ce qu'on pense savoir en termes de level design pour nous surprendre à tous les niveaux. Le jeu est agréable à prendre en main, laisse une liberté totale et jongle entre différents genres avec brio. This game is genuinely life-changing, and raised the bar so high for what games can be. If you are reading this and you haven't played the game, please go play the game, and avoid all spoilers and go in completely blind for the best experience. I won't have any spoilers here, but the story, lore, characters, soundtrack, gameplay, art style, level designs and atmosphere are all 11/10, and there is absolutely nothing I dislike or even remotely get a bit annoyed by. The game really cannot get better than this. This game is easily in my top 3 games of all time.
