the game is a beautiful disaster, its def not vampire survivor and I don't think it will ever be, and that is fine. Its going for something else that I think can be better than that game. It has a whole lot of bugs and UI is jank but this really feels like an arcade cab come to life, like me and my buddy and pop in two quarters at the local and crash on some monsters. I feel that the mid scoring is kinda on point for this, but its also very lofi on purpose, its build for people that are in their late 30s that understand when crappy fun undercooked games were all the rage I hope they keep working on more levels and I would love to buy a comic or watch a anime show based on these characters, its also cool that they represented a ton of races in the character selects and its not just random white dudes one and two. I want more, and people should buy this game because there is a market for this hardcore gore stuff but its not for this soft gen of folks nowadays. we need more hardcores like this one
Epic and Ambitious. Throwback and forward thinking as well. Very well executed Horror Arcade game. 8/10 Needs more content, and a bit more cooking, but the seasoning is just right!!
THE FRIDGES R EVERYWHERE. (vampire survivors N64?)
Desperately needs an update, continuing to play through unlock things only to log in and find them gone again is getting tiresome. Overall great concept enjoy the game and it has some strong ideas but needs some bug fixes before its worth a purchase
Looks like it should run on a potato. The minimum requirements are just silly. It is my fault for not reading specs though.
Outer Terror is very similar to Vampire Survivors, although with a more detailed aesthetic. The comic book style graphic work well in the games favour and upgrades seem fairly easy until certain point. The game is entertaining, unfortunately, the lack of direction does hurt the overall feeling of progression. The objectives seem obscure on not explained at all. I can recommend it, and I won't recommend it. I will recommend it based on graphics alone and I won't recommend it due to how confusing progression is. I advise you to check some gameplay before you buy it or wait for a patch or two. You can check some gameplay by clicking the link below: https://youtu.be/X0c78AxIA6o
Very Cool Experience.
Love the aesthetic. Its an interesting take on the genre. Sadly the game play is lackluster, no weapon or upgrade feel game changing. The update schedule so far seems promising, hopefully they can address the issues.
Personally it wasnt a go to game for me but I always love trying new things and I have watched rouglite games and it was actually more fun that i was expecting. I like how every map has a different task of what to do. I would have probably liked to play the actual characters with said story but i didnt know who that was until the story was playing but other than that it was quick to find my fave characters. Certain ones can tackle certain maps better than others.
Outer Terror is an unparalleled comic cosmic horror gaming experience. solid fun.
