About
Colours rise up from the ground, unordered, on spawner towers. You must quickly sort them and make sure they don’t go down into the wrong tower.
Once arranged correctly, you’ll be rewarded with coins. Use these coins to buy items from the shop. Items make completing levels much easier. Higher rounds yield cheaper items and more coins. How many rounds will you survive?

Reviews
The sense of joy, whimsy, and flow this game gives me is honestly without parallel. Sitting here finally writing the review I have a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes with how much the trailer warms my heart. It so effortlessly embodies exactly what this game is about and who it's for. Having fun with friends sorting out towers of blocks working in cooperation to hand each other the right pieces at the right timing. It's an incredibly simple premise with a shocking amount of depth and complexity, add in custom maps and there's dozens of hours worth of play here. Not to mention the soundtrack which is absolutely astoundingly good. Add in that this game now has a FREE version (Out of Order Zero: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4163770/Out_of_Order_zero/ ) which is also playable in MULTIPLAYER! I can extatically, wholeheartedly recommend giving this game a shot; especially with friends!
nice
I got this game on sale for $1 CAD. Out of Order is super simple to pick up and play with anybody; if you're looking for nice casual co-op game to play together. Truly a great choice whether you're 1 person or 4 seeing how far you can get. So far I've gotten 50 levels in with my daughter and I'm looking forward to getting other people to come play too!

Simple but effective. That's Out of Order in a nutshell, literally. After all, the puzzle game is only 25 megabytes in size, but offers a lot. The gameplay is quickly explained: You have to sort the towers correctly by "colors". You can carry these "colors" around one by one, but only the pieces that are on top of the towers. “Where’s the challenge?” you may ask. Well, the towers can overflow and break, which results in a Game Over. So you can’t just stand around -> you have to play tactically. Out of Order isn’t a game where you play 20 levels and then the credits roll. It’s quite the opposite: Like in the Hit-ARPG Hades, you can buy items and power-ups after each level, which make later puzzles a lot more bearable. If you lose, you'll have to start all over again (but don't worry, the levels are randomly generated. So you don't have to solve the same ones repeatedly). With that said, Out of Order is, to be precise, a Puzzle-Rogue-like! By the way, the levels themselves have no time limit. And yet, the game draws you in so much that you want to solve the puzzles as quickly and efficiently as possible (even though there are no bonuses for faster solving). Why is that? Although the visuals can be described as rather soft and cute (you play as either a rabbit, pig, sheep or hedgehog and every now and then you come across pets such as butterflies AND the shop sellers are giraffes) Out of Order is also somewhat reminiscent of games like Don't Starve: The puzzles take place in forest-like areas and the music occasionally tips into something gloomy, which often made me feel quite alone and exposed while playing. This doesn’t mean that the game is scary! Far from it! The chirping of birds during the day and the quacking of frogs at night (as well as the friendly colors) keep the balance. In the end, Out of Order remains a peaceful experience. The increasing difficulty and the above-mentioned slightly dark tension add a rather unique spice to the game you'll want to taste again and again. Finally, all the many small details finish Out of Order off nicely. For only $6, there's a lot going on: A red sports car picks you up after each level, but if you lose, you have to take the bus back home. There is a day night cycle. Funny achievements. All sorts of stats that are displayed to you in the lobby. That’s right, there’s a lobby, too. Out of Order can be played by up to four players locally. I couldn’t try out the multiplayer yet (all my friends are busy :/) but I can imagine that it has the potential to be as chaotic as Overcooked. However, there is one point of criticism. Although the levels are randomly generated, their structure repeats after a while. This is the fate of all games that use procedural generation. Until then, however, Out of Order is thoroughly enjoyable. (By the way, there’s also a level editor if you want to create new puzzles yourself.) TLDR: Out of Order is a puzzle-game that tries something different. It meshes cute graphics with a somewhat spooky atmosphere and dabbles in rogue-like game mechanics, which grab your attention quickly. All this works, just like a freshly oiled machine.
Cute game! I had a lot of fun frantically running around with my friends. A strong concept that can get surprisingly (and enjoyably) difficult :)
