Was a decently fun game. You likely found it thanks to JSH. Servers for the game were shutdown permanently on September 23, 2021 - Don't waste the download, you missed the boat unfortunately.
Unfortunatly the servers are down. If you want to see how the game looked like: Josh Strife Hayes on YT. GL + GG + HF
Wanted to try this out because of Josh Strife Hayes' videos on it, but alas it seems everything's been shut down.... couldn't get past the "verifying" part on startup. It's quite sad, because this seemed to be at least somewhat original compared to every other MMO having the exact same copy/paste systems. Hope they bring it back one day, or make it open-source or something. EDIT: I'm gonna change this to "recommended" in hopes the game comes back if it can get enough good reviews.

Unfortunately, it seems that the servers for Otherland have ceased to function. Despite multiple attempts to access the game, I was unable to progress past the verifying screen. This lack of accessibility is reflected in the dwindling player numbers on platforms like Steamcharts. It appears that the end of Otherland has come and gone, leaving potential players unable to experience what the game had to offer. It's a shame to see a promising MMO meet such a fate.
Servers have been down since late last year. Drago Entertainment has confirmed there is no plan to ever bring them back online. Was a fever dream of a game, which is sadly no longer something you can experience
This game is dead since Oct/Nov of 2021. Please do not download or purchase any of the packs seen on the Store page. I suggest everyone Report this game to have it removed since it is now unplayable.
I really hope the Game comes back, because it has a lot of love in it. Im leaving this review in hopes, that more people get aware of the game and it re-releases again.
I knew what I was getting into after watching Josh Strife Hayes' video on this.
Good night, sweet prince, and may flights of endearingly-glitchy angels send thee to thy rest. You guided me to a really freakin' good book series, and I'll never forget you for that....
Abandoned, servers offline.
