yes ugh
I actually completed my first blind playthrough (which means I had absolutely no clue what this game was) on Hard + Lightless + Shardless. It took me 139 deaths and 10 hours. And let me tell you: at some point I had a mental breakdown because the damage you can do in this game was clearly meant to scale with the number of collectibles and the amount of light you get. I was getting my ass kicked during the boss fights. In comparison with the first game, where you can outskill the terrain and don't have to fight any "bosses", this setup is outright masochistic. If you are like me who thinks: "Yeah, I'm a superior gamer who rolled through the first chapter on similar difficulty, surely this one won't be any different" - YOU ARE WRONG. You will ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lose your mind. Aside from that, the music and art are 10/10. The terrain is irritating; you easily get lost. Shards are interesting. The weapons are slightly unbalanced, but it's a single player game so it doesn't really matter. Quests are excellent. jajaja Great game.

muy bueno
An excellent follow up that improves upon the gameplay of Ori and the Blind Forest, and gives a very satisfying, yet also emotional, conclusion to the Ori journey.
absolutely beautiful, drop dead gorgeous art one of the best platforming controls, tight and extremely fluid the moves flow into each other exceptionally well, although they seem a bit samey like the dash in the water and the drill, but the platforming scenarios make up for that One gripe is that the escape sequences are much shorter and in my opinion, a bit too easy as compared to the first one, but the bosses are a great addition Overall, easy 9/10 and a bang for your buck if you like platformers or metroidvanias
