Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 23 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

ORCS is a retro-style action platformer developed and published by Pixel vs Pixel that embraces classic arcade-era design philosophies with confidence. Built around precise movement, difficult enemy encounters, and straightforward progression, the game feels like a deliberate tribute to older generations of side-scrolling action games that valued mechanical skill above accessibility. Rather than chasing modern trends or layering complex systems onto its foundation, ORCS focuses on delivering a challenge-driven experience that rewards patience, persistence, and improvement through practice. From its opening stages, the game establishes itself as an experience designed for players who enjoy demanding gameplay. There are no extensive tutorials guiding every mechanic and few systems designed to soften mistakes. Progress comes from learning enemy behavior, understanding stage layouts, and gradually developing mastery over movement and combat timing. The design philosophy feels heavily inspired by older platforming traditions where overcoming difficult sections becomes one of the greatest rewards the game can offer. The gameplay centers around traditional side-scrolling action spread across multiple stages filled with hazards, enemies, and platforming challenges. Movement remains responsive and uncomplicated, allowing players to focus entirely on execution rather than memorizing overly complex mechanics. Precision becomes essential. Small mistakes often carry consequences, and success frequently depends on maintaining control during increasingly demanding sequences. The challenge level remains consistent with the game's retro ambitions, creating an experience where perseverance matters as much as reflexes. Combat follows similarly straightforward principles. Enemy encounters emphasize positioning and timing rather than elaborate ability systems or progression mechanics. Battles often reward patience and observation, encouraging players to understand patterns rather than relying purely on aggression. The result creates combat that feels intentionally old-fashioned in ways that will appeal strongly to players who appreciate classic action design. One of the stronger aspects of ORCS comes from its understanding of restraint. The game avoids unnecessary mechanics that might distract from its core strengths. There are no oversized progression trees or overly complicated systems competing for attention. Instead, Pixel vs Pixel builds the experience around focused gameplay fundamentals and trusts those mechanics to carry the experience forward. That commitment to simplicity helps create an experience that feels cohesive rather than overloaded. Boss encounters help provide some of the game's most memorable moments. Major enemies demand greater concentration and push players to apply everything learned throughout earlier stages. Victory often requires studying attack patterns and maintaining precision under pressure rather than simply overpowering opponents. These battles reinforce the satisfaction that comes from mastering difficult gameplay systems while helping progression feel meaningful. Visually, ORCS adopts a pixel art presentation that complements its retro design goals effectively. Character sprites, environments, and animations embrace simplicity while maintaining enough personality to create a recognizable visual identity. The art direction prioritizes gameplay clarity over visual spectacle, reinforcing the feeling that ORCS belongs alongside older platformers that focused heavily on mechanical depth rather than technical presentation. The game's difficulty will likely become the defining factor for many players. ORCS rarely compromises its challenge for accessibility. Certain sections require repeated attempts before success becomes possible, and players unwilling to embrace trial-and-error progression may occasionally find the experience demanding. However, players who enjoy difficult platformers often discover satisfaction precisely because of those obstacles. Success feels meaningful because improvement comes through genuine mastery. Small touches of humor and charm also help balance the intensity. While gameplay remains demanding, the presentation avoids becoming overly serious or oppressive. The game carries enough personality to maintain energy throughout progression without undermining its challenge-focused identity. Replay value largely comes from personal improvement rather than procedural systems or branching progression. ORCS encourages players to return not necessarily because content changes dramatically, but because mastery itself becomes rewarding. Difficult sections that once felt impossible gradually become manageable through experience and refinement of skill. Pixel vs Pixel succeeds by understanding exactly what kind of game ORCS wants to be. It does not attempt to reinvent classic platformers or modernize retro ideas beyond recognition. Instead, it focuses on preserving the satisfaction of difficult action gameplay while delivering enough personality to feel distinct. Players who appreciate challenging platformers, arcade-inspired design, and experiences built around mechanical precision will likely find plenty to enjoy. ORCS delivers a focused experience built around old-school principles that remain effective decades later. It understands that sometimes straightforward gameplay executed well can remain just as engaging as more ambitious modern systems. Rating: 8/10

Its a tough, short, and simple platformer game where you play as the hero that has to slay the orcs because they attacked the village. Simple plot, simple gameplay. You can move, jump, attack, grab their weapons which you can throw at enemies. Thats pretty much it. Game is very linear too.
差评呼吁中文和成就。chinese and Ach plz.
