Rating : 9/10 Orbit is an adorable side‑scroller‑style game where you play as a small robot named Nico. The narrative is surprisingly engaging, and the world reacts to you in ways that make every interaction feel meaningful. Characters change their dialogue as you progress, and the environment shifts alongside your actions, creating a genuine sense of immersion. The art style is wonderful — charming, expressive, and full of tiny details that made me smile constantly. One robot even complimented my scarf, which absolutely made my day. The only visual element that feels out of place is the floor: it’s pitch black, not perfectly round, and looks a bit disconnected from the rest of the beautifully crafted world. Everything else, though, is stunning. It does take a little time to adjust to how the world responds to you as a player. I died a few times before the mechanics clicked, but once they did, the game became something really special. Managing the daylight cycle while progressing through the story adds a unique layer of strategy and atmosphere, and discovering what’s happening in this world kept me invested. The biggest issue is the English translation and the way the game launches: - I couldn’t get it into full screen. - There are no settings to adjust anything. - The game opens in windowed mode, at the wrong resolution, and at a very loud volume. - The English translation is rough, likely translated from Korean, and it doesn’t fully convey the story the developer intended. To be clear, I don’t fault the developer for this — supporting multiple languages is difficult for indie teams, and I’m genuinely grateful the game is available in English at all. But the translation and lack of basic settings do hold the experience back, especially when the story is such a core part of the game’s charm. Despite the technical issues and the imperfect translation, Orbit has become one of my favourite indie games. It’s endearing, atmospheric, and full of heart. Something about it made me want to keep trying even when I usually give up quickly. It absolutely deserves a final polish, especially for English‑speaking players, but the core experience is wonderful. 9/10 — I love this game, and I’m excited to finish it and learn more about this adorable little robot.
短小精幹,打折時候入手玩一下不錯!
