This game has a lot of potential wish more people played it tho
My take on this game/developing platform. This should be sold as an alpha in development in my opinion because it needs a lot of fixing and has a small identity crisis. (Bipod not working and other issues so as a few crashes) But enough of my criticism,i appreciate someone bringing fresh air into the gaming scene and that with a very small team of enthusiastic people. I do NOT expect perfection,Squad and Arma started out as a buggy mess and evolved over time into what they are now. ( A lot of bugs are still not fixed) So comparing those fully developed games with their long history of modders and content changes/updates with Harsh Doorstop at it's current state is simply NOT fair. Squad became a Gem with UE4 but became worse over time thanks to selling out it's soul (from TEAMPLAY to run and gun money machine) and with that came crappy changes/updates which made it run like a brick for the majority of players. (Even for some with supercomputers) New Games in general get more and more hardware hungry (CPU/GPU intensive/unoptimized to save money) and this means you need a super computer in the future to run them. That makes them for ME very unattractive and unreachable for the masses (the majority has mid/low spec systems). I do not want to sell an arm and a leg to to play a videogame. This is were i see a REAL chance for Harsh Doorstop to fill this gap and shine. (With more financial support of course) This game runs pretty well at 1080P and i do NOT need photorealistic graphics, what i need is a game with heart&soul made from gamers for gamers with an enthusiastic TEAM of developers. Because this love translates to the game and it's quality !!!! When you expect this game to be flawless, with good graphics,no bugs and a huge amount of content you will be disappointed !!!! (Rational thinking) My wish for the future is a TEAM orientated game which has a sandbox character (high modding ability) but delievers the good old BF&Squad feeling. In my opinion their should be a battle royal mode for (run and gun gamers) which refuse to play together in a tactical/team/strategic fashion hate building fob's and so on so they can simply shoot each other without anything else attached. Ammoboxes everywhere no logistics and so on necessary,to keep it simple and enjoyable for those who love this type of gameplay. This could attract a lot of gamers and with that improve funds to upgrade the games quality with better content. This makes it also less likely for those to come on servers were TEAMPLAYERS have a match trying to plan and play strategical ALL together. Everyone could enjoy the game with the right game modus enabled, instead of people squadbaiting and unwilling to play together, destroying the fun for those who want MORE then simply shooting at each other !!!!! This together with low/mid hardware requirements and less surfisticated graphics but slowly added content with vehicles and other tools would improve the game over time and i am sure it has the ability to become the GEM which squad once was at a certain time !!!! Keep it stabile, playable, easy interface, fast to pick up and a clear explaination what the different game modes inherent and you have a game which will be succesful. ( And please make the bipods work) Best wishes for the developers Team and i am happy to support your effort.
