Operation Defensive is a tower defense game but instead of monsters following a track, it's a player. So instead of watching enemies follow a track for no reason, watch them attack a player instead. But dont just stand there--fight back with towers! Towers dont really aim so much, so it's your job to lead enemies into your traps! You can play multiple different themes, all with unique different enemies and tower skins, and some with bosses. If you ever feel like the game is too difficult, there are settings for extra starting cash and a heal at the end of each round. Just know that these help settings don't work on bosses. And remember to have fun :D
This game is adorable. This game reminds me of my very first game I made on Scratch 8 years ago. There is not much content in this game, I won't lie, but what's there is honestly pretty fun for not having paid a dime to play this game. This game is a tower defense game based on manipulating the enemy's AI. You build towers on the bottom of the screen and lure the monsters into the trap. There are only 3 towers in the game and one of them doesn't deal damage, so the gameplay does get stale pretty fast. The amount of monsters does slightly make up for this fact though. In only the first stage, there were tons of different monsters that kept showing up the further into it I got until eventually I died (it might be endless I'm not sure). The movement system, enemy AI, and art style is as basic as it gets. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it's not super enjoyable to look at for extended periods of time. It would also be nice to have some music, or sound at all, but for a free game this does go over the top. Overall, this game was a fun 20 minutes of my time, and maybe in a couple weeks I'll come back to it and see if I can complete one of the other stages.

"Operation Defensive!" is a very poorly made, well, it's not really a tower defense game, it's more of a kiting simulator. It would be a 2D retro pixel top down shooter, except instead of shooting you drop "towers" that do the shooting for you. It probably seemed like a good idea at the time. Heck, it might even have worked if the technical implementation was good. The technical implementation here is not good. This features really godawful, lazy pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks bad because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 3 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
Solid idea, decent gameplay. I like the idea of a td game where you control where the enemies go, and I'm pretty sure it's original. The game is flawed, but it's also pretty new. My biggest gameplay issue is with janky hitboxes, where they seemed a bit larger than they should be, but that's really my main problem. It would be good to add new towers and upgrades for them all as well as maybe some new worlds. I like the bosses, too. The gimmicks in each world add a lot of flair, too. Overall, while short, It's a great proof-of-concept for a bigger and better title. I'll be keeping my eye on this one for new updates. For now, I rate it 7.5/10.
+ Není špatná mechanika, dobrá obtížnost, zadarmo - Chybí hudba, nic moc grafika, občas nějaká chyba Dávám 3 z 10
