This was a cute little game. I will explore more since I finished the storyline, it was rather fun to be a dog.

The experience of a lifetime!
Oopz-Oofs is a quirky canine adventure built around a wonderfully strange premise: a man named John falls asleep in his border collie Cole’s bed on New Year’s Eve and wakes up inside his dog’s body. Rather than turning this transformation into an elaborate fantasy epic, the game keeps things playful and personal. Exploring an ordinary town from a completely different perspective becomes the main attraction, with familiar surroundings transformed into a playground of smells, people, objects, and opportunities for canine mischief. Developed and published by Zoomies Games, it is a small-scale experience that relies more on personality and curiosity than mechanical complexity. Much of the gameplay revolves around learning to interact with the world as a dog rather than simply controlling a human character with four legs. John can sniff his surroundings, bark, beg, use his paw, perform tricks, and investigate whatever catches his attention. Sniffing is particularly fitting because it turns one of a dog's most recognizable behaviors into an exploration mechanic. Instead of relying entirely on conventional dialogue and interaction prompts, the game encourages players to think about how Cole would experience the environment. Barking and begging provide additional ways to communicate, while performing tricks can influence John's interactions with the people around town. The transformation also gives otherwise mundane activities a humorous twist. Walking down a street, approaching a stranger, investigating an object, or trying to communicate suddenly feels different when the protagonist cannot behave like an ordinary person. The controls and mechanics are intentionally straightforward, making the game easy to understand without requiring extensive tutorials or complicated progression systems. This accessibility complements the cheerful premise, although players expecting a deep dog simulator or a large sandbox should understand that the experience is comparatively modest in scope. Beneath the comedy is a surprisingly affectionate relationship between John and Cole. The objective is not merely to cause trouble as a dog. John also has an opportunity to experience life from Cole's perspective, understand his companion more closely, and discover what his dog might actually want. The concept of taking care of your human while occupying the dog's body creates an amusing reversal of the traditional owner-and-pet relationship. That small emotional layer helps the adventure feel more meaningful than it would if it depended entirely on novelty. Exploration is consequently at its best when players are allowed to experiment. Sniffing around, approaching residents, trying different actions, and seeing how the environment reacts creates the sort of low-pressure discovery that suits a casual game. There is little indication that Oopz-Oofs wants to overwhelm the player with difficult combat, demanding resource management, or elaborate puzzles. Its appeal instead comes from inhabiting the role, enjoying the humor, and gradually progressing through John's unusual predicament. The presentation supports that direction with a cute and approachable style. Cole is an inherently likable protagonist, and the border collie perspective gives the developers plenty of opportunities for expressive behavior and comedy. The game's modest visual ambitions also work in its favor because the emphasis remains on interactions rather than spectacle. Its relatively lightweight system requirements and small storage footprint further underline that this is designed as an accessible indie adventure rather than a technically demanding production. There are limitations to this simplicity. Players who want extensive character development, complex simulation mechanics, a huge open environment, or dozens of hours of progression may find the concept more substantial than the underlying systems. Repeatedly barking, sniffing, begging, and interacting can lose some novelty if a player approaches the game expecting constant mechanical evolution. Oopz-Oofs works better when treated as a compact, humorous adventure where the pleasure comes from the premise and the situations it creates. Being free-to-play also makes its smaller scale easier to accept and gives curious players a low-risk opportunity to experience its unusual idea. Steam Deck compatibility is currently best regarded as unverified rather than officially confirmed as Steam Deck Verified or Playable. The game's relatively modest hardware demands suggest that performance itself may not be the largest obstacle, but that should not be confused with an official compatibility rating. Until formal Steam Deck testing establishes otherwise, handheld users should expect that controls, interface behavior, or other aspects may require adjustment. Ultimately, Oopz-Oofs takes an uncomplicated concept and gives it enough warmth to become more than a novelty. Experiencing the town through Cole's senses, communicating through dog-like behaviors, performing tricks, and attempting to understand the circumstances behind John's transformation create a distinctive identity. It is unlikely to satisfy someone searching for a mechanically deep simulation, but players attracted to wholesome adventures, dogs, gentle comedy, and unconventional indie concepts should find plenty to appreciate. Its strongest quality is simply how enthusiastically it embraces the idea of letting the player stop thinking like a human and spend some time discovering what life might be like on the other end of the leash. Rating: 7/10
A fun little experience. Sometimes you just need to step away from work for a few days to find what's really important to you; this time it was as a dog.
짧은 게임. 인간주인공이 네발로 기면서 똥싸는게 제일 재밋다.
it was a fun little experience in the life of a freaky friday-esk dog. Probably the best part was using the yellow juices on everything I saw.
