I'm so happy this game is ported to Steam! I used to play this on my iPad back in the days of the Golden Age of mobile gaming. Though I would recommend you play this with a controller, because WASD in this game is kinda scuffed. Sometimes WASD will just stop working and your character stops moving. Other than that this is a great arcade style ARPG Roguelite. Dev, if you are reading this, please make a sequel to Only One for PC that is more in depth and has more features and gameplay, and maybe some other weapons.
Only One used to be one of me favourite games on Android. I'm so happy that it got a PC port, so I can finally play it with better controls and on a big screen. The in-game controls with controller are really good and comfortable; however, I prefer navigating the menu with the keyboard and whenever the controller is in the mouse disappears... PC controls are mostly great except for the active power buttons. Too bad you cannot change controls. Anyway, the game itself is very good. You start with the very simply combat sequences and slowly reach harder and harder ones until finally you witness some insane and chaotic battles. The powers you can buy are awesome and the combat can become quite complex, strategic and intense. You can make so many different combinations of what active and passive powers you carry that there is a lot of variety to the combat. Enemy A.I. is superb and it is challenging to fight all the enemies. So far the PC port is quite glitchy unfortunately, mainly U.I., but it's fully playable. After beating the game, I would say that the "ending" is very disappointing... There are also trials mode where you can try to beat numbered enemies as fast as you can to score points for stars, but I found it to be a mess. Either I do not understand it, or it's unbalanced. Some I can get 3 stars first try, the others I can barely get a single star no matter how hard I try. I read some comments/posts written by other people who claim that some trials are impossible, so it may be. Anyway, it's a very fun, yet short game with a lot of replayability to unlock new powers, characters, and to play around with different builds and powers/skills. 8/10

delightful!
This was one of my favorite mobile games from waaaaaay back... like it must be close to 13 years or more ago now. The PC conversion is fantastic. The game is simple but the combat is addictive and the challenge dificult enough to be interesting without being so frustrating that I can't be bothered with it. On launch there were a few bugs and balance issues, but the developer has been pushing out bug fixes at a lightening pace and I really hope this game sells like hotcakes, because they seriously deserve it too.
There can be only one Only One!
This game was one of those puzzle pieces of my childhood. I remember rather vividly getting a version hacked for "ultimate power", as it never made sense to have to be locked out of a lot of good upgrades/abilities for no good reason. What I also remember rather vividly is that I never beat the game at the time. Time passed, all of us grew up, and now here I am, getting this game for real on a platform that I use a lot more for gaming than my phone nowadays. Paying for this game is natural for all the memories it brought back. It's also fair to do so - after all, you did the best thing you could do for any game of such kind. Remembering old times also brought back some of that skill I had in the past - now translated into keyboard and mouse manipulation. Years later, probably not the only one - but I am finally The Ultimate One. And if the flame doesn't die out too soon, I might try doing something stupidly difficult for no reason... but ah, we'll see. Thank you for the memories.

Only One
One of my favorite games since i was a kid, from the amazing soundtrack to the satisfying combat, this is one of my favorite games ive played, now that its on steam i can shred everything on the big screen <3 im gonna get to playing this more
It took me by surprise the unexpected announcement and release of this game, it is really good as the day i remember playing it on my phone back in 2014/2015!
