The game is budget-priced and is a good deal for what your'e getting. If you enjoyed A Game About Digging a Hole, then I think you will enjoy this VR interpretation as well. There's just something satisfying about digging a hole. Don't worry, the digging here is actually quite easy. You basically just hit the shovel to the ground and it just digs for you. The shovel changes length depending on where you put it. So it's easy on your body, which was my concern as a middle-aged gamer. The grappling hook is also pretty fun to use once you unlock it. Game is running on the Unity Engine. On my RTX 5090, I was getting a steady 90 fps (no surprise there). You do have full locomotion, along with smooth or snap turning. This is one of those games that unless you play it you won't understand how addicting it is. The first concept is straightforward and the mechanics in VR work like you expect. I've already spent a few hours in this game between the demo and the full version and plan to spend some more trying to complete and find all the scrolls. It's a great pickup and play as well. Also it was created by a single developer so show some love to the indie VR developers and add this to your library of VR games.

Really fun and chill game! not much stress, just digging, uncovering gems and other goodies, upgrading your character, and heading deeper to see what's there! I highly recommend!

Ich geb’s zu: Als ich das Spiel gestartet hab, dachte ich erst „Was soll der Quatsch?“ – Grafik irgendwo zwischen „geht so“ und „Quest 1 lässt grüßen“. Aber dann hab ich angefangen zu graben. Und zu graben. Und zu graben. Und nach etwa 20 Minuten war’s passiert: Ich war drin. Voll drin. Wie ein Zwerg auf Koks mit Spitzhacke und Tunnelblick. Das Gameplay ist simpel, aber genau das macht’s gefährlich. Man denkt, man macht nur kurz ein Loch – und plötzlich ist man in einem unterirdischen Labyrinth aus Bier, Geröll und absurden Entscheidungen. Ja, das mit dem Biertrinken ist totaler Unsinn. Aber irgendwie auch verdammt lustig. Es passt zum schrägen Charme des Spiels, das sich selbst nicht zu ernst nimmt. Was mich überrascht hat: Trotz der trashigen Optik und dem seltsamen Humor entwickelt das Spiel eine Sogwirkung. Es ist wie ein digitaler Kartoffelchip – du willst nur einen, aber plötzlich ist die Tüte leer und du bist drei Stunden später immer noch am Buddeln. Fazit: „Only DWARVES DIG Proper HOLES“ ist wie ein schlechter Witz, der so oft erzählt wird, bis er wieder lustig ist. Es ist albern, es ist schräg, und es macht süchtig. Ich liebe es. Punkt. Very cool game, Simple game-play and easy to ready interface. Easy to follow tutorial and easy controls. Will update more once more time is spent

What can I say this game scratches a very odd itch. There is just something about digging a hole and finding stuff that just really does it for me plus the auto dig is awesome and did you know you can hang from the grappling hook to dig out those high up places you missed?!
