Once Upon A Mind - A Little Too Friendly

Once Upon A Mind is a very short psychological horror where we play as a young woman, Emily, that has just moved cities for a fresh start and so, like any young adult in a new city, gets a job in a café. However, things begin to take a sinister turn when a man, David, begins following Emily. What follows is a pretty tense few days as David attempts to weave his way into Emily's life, alienating her until it's just the two of them that remain. I have to say, after finishing this up I was surprised at how well this was received by the general consensus. I understand that this was the devs first outing so of course lenience is due. But unfortunately I just really didn't enjoy this. It's pretty clumsy in a lot of the areas with very basic mechanics. On top of that the voice acting is really quite bad, so bad it took me completely out of the moment on more than one occasion. There's some good bones here, but it just is not enough for me to say it's worth playing.

If you're looking for a short psychological horror game to finish and 100% in one sitting, this one is for you! It's a good and short horror game that proves you don't need anything paranormal to give a good scare. Keep in mind, it's a very basic game, so don’t expect anything too crazy in terms of gameplay or story. There are a few jump scares here and there, and they’re quite effective. The story is nothing really new but it is still enjoyable. The NPC animations are a bit weird and messy, they don’t really add anything important to the game, so it's not a big issue. Overall, it does a good job portraying the experiences many women unfortunately have to go through.

Absolutely loved this , great work dev 👏 It's short and it hasn't got perfect graphics but it doesn't need to . It builds up the tension gradually and plays into the feeling that no amount of made up monsters will ever be more terrifying than the human monsters who walk amongst us every day. Loved the little references to other games. Eagerly awaiting the next release

Once Upon a Mind: A Little Too Friendly rahatsız edici atmosferiyle yavaş yavaş içine çeken bir deneyimdi. Tanıdık görünen şeylerin giderek tuhaflaşması gerilimi güzel kuruyor. Büyük anlardan çok his üzerinden ilerliyor. Ben beğendim, psikolojik korku sevenlere öneririm.

I really enjoyed playing this game. The story was really deep and realistic. I appreciate the simplicity of the graphics and tasks. All in all, great cozy horror game!! <3

wow this game honestly had me so creeped out it was insane, it feels extremely realistic and creepy. solid 8.5 out of 10. price is also amazing would definately reccommend
