Great game, amazing visuals
A fun game for a time. It executes on a simple concept rather well, and does a good job of balancing the stress and stakes of an Extraction game, but without the harrowing skill requirements of a traditional PvPvE extraction game. The various user-facing difficulty options allow players to engage with the game in the way they enjoy. My main complaint would be how short the game is. The core systems are reasonably well thought out, so the game could use more ships/weapons/bosses/stages. However, the game IS priced appropriately for the length, so it gets a positive review from me. As for areas of improvement, I think a way to sell/dismantle items from your base would be nice. That way you don't have to load up a ton of cargo via tedious dragging and dropping before visiting the merchant. Ways to manage your inventory through clicking as opposed to drag and drop would also help. A larger variety of ships is something I'd recommend. It is strange to me that there's no kinetics-focused Blue or Red rarity ship. Crafting resources was also a matter of contention. I couldn't figure out how to discover the blueprint for crafting and blue-tier resources after building the required structure.

Great game, great Artwork and Style
This is great. It feels like a throwback to the combat in Escape Velocity, a game that will always have a place in my heart. I appreciate it and would love to see it expand. Plays well on Linux!
Really cool
It's got a quick 5 minute gameplay loop that also happens to be very satisfying. Pick an area, launch, fight for 5 minutes choosing where to go for resources and quests, extract, upgrade, repeat. It also has tons of style with an amazing aesthetic and soundtrack. I'm finding the lore very interesting as well. It's got a codex you can read through, detailing the relevant history. Love it.
Loved art direction and general vibes. Lore was interesting enough to get me to read through the codex entries too. Not super deep in terms of gameplay mechanics, but the combat feels chaotic and engaging. I had fun collecting all the different components/weapons and trying them out. Some of the highest tier weapons trivialize the game, I would recommend bumping up the difficulty to keep things engaging if you decide to collect these and aren't into power fantasy gameplay. Pretty short game overall, even if you decide to collect and do everything. Personally I do not see this as a negative, sometimes its nice to have a game that doesn't try to be a fulltime job. The dev has mentioned adding an endless mode in the future though for those who need their games to be, well, endless.
Fantastic game with variable load outs and quick snippety adventures - perfect for small commitment escapes. The dev is super active - 6 patches/ QOL updates in less than a week of release! hoping the next QOL update would include: - details on the hull configuration before crafting/ buying it (the way space rangers does it for example), - having the option to use numbers instead of bars for power and damage (counting bars can be quite hectic on weapons), - visual demos of what a weapon attack looks like on hovering over them in shops/ when selecting in crafting or storage with player ship firing at an enemy/multiple enemies (especially for weapons that have explosion or penetration damage) - having icons for resources included in text descriptions for structures (or even as tool tip on the side)
