Wadjet eye always makes bangers, the game was very simple but I liked the journey and the way things sort of connects, the characters are all charismatic and the nuances each chapter reflects about time are great. Notes: -Some puzzles are a bit annoying because of how the they don't allow you to look into where you need, so you stuck in endless rewinds -The sounds yet simple are very functional, the dubs are amazing and the voice actors gave their all -I like the cartoonish art style, WE games are always orangish but very colorful, it fits and adds up to the atmosphere -The ending felt a bit rushed, I think one more chapter to build the bonds between the characters a bit more would fit well before the final chapter Can't deepen my review without spoiling so, it's worth the price

Overall I really enjoyed Old Skies and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys point-and-click adventure games. What I liked: - The high-res background art and character animation is stunning - The emotional stakes, character arc, and payoff were really satisfying - The twist on time-travel mechanics was unique and was vital to the character arcs - Visiting Manhattan on 9/10/2001 was emotionally moving What I didn't like: - Some parts of the game, particularly Chapter 4, felt like filler that didn't contribute to the overall story - There were some puzzles where I had to take hand notes, as opposed to an in-game journal that keeps track of important clues--I'm used to being spoiled now
