crashes on launch and when it doesn't, it still doesn't launch and keeps running in the background doing only god knows what (probably spyware)
Absolutely useless and worthless software. Does not launch AT ALL.

"Ohm Studio" is broken software that relies on back-end servers to work and doesn't launch properly because the developers, err, pulled the plug. This also used to cost $45 so that's insane. It was intended to be collaborative jam software... so basically this is trying real hard to do what Zoom and MS Teams already do better, but those are free and they wanted you to pay money for this. What a business model. Charging money for an inferior version of better, free alternatives. Smart. This application is ancient, it's over 13 years old... it's heavily dated and isn't going to give you a remotely contemporary experience... another reason for users to be hesitant about adding this to their accounts. On the important matter of pricing and value for users, there's a lot going on here with monetisation, so this really shouldn't be considered a truly free product because of that. There's no initial download price, but the developer was charging $45 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It seems like a nice gesture for the application to have no up-front cost anymore, but it also tells us that the application wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. This is also a bit of a slap in the face to anyone who showed enough questionable judgement to pay money for this... nobody got refunded. Given that this free application won't increase your collection count, is it worth your time to add it to your account? Pass on this one. There's no immediate financial commitment, but there are thousands of more compelling applications on the platform that will give you a lot more utility for your time.
