First and foremost, the lack of proper steering wheel support is mind-boggling. I mean, who releases a truck simulator game in this day and age without comprehensive wheel support? It's 2023, people! Moving on to the controls with a gamepad; they are downright uncomfortable. It feels like trying to drive with a potato. The sensitivity is all over the place. It's like the developers never even tried to playtest with a controller. Now, let's talk about the frame rate. If you enjoy playing games that look like PowerPoint presentations, HDC is perfect for you. The FPS drops are so frequent and severe that it's nearly unplayable. You'll spend more time looking at a slideshow than actually driving. But wait, there's more! The game decides to mess with your monitor's brightness settings and doesn't bother to reset them when you exit. So, every time you play HDC, be prepared to fumble around in your monitor settings. All the trucks in the game handle pretty much the same. It's as if they copied and pasted the same driving mechanics onto different truck models. Where's the variety? Where's the realism? And don't get me started on the maps. There's a shocking lack of diversity in the landscapes. It feels like you're stuck driving through the same boring environments over and over again. Where's the excitement of exploring different terrains? If you were hoping for some realistic mudslinging action or the challenge of crossing deep waters, you're in for a rude awakening. The game's depiction of mud and water is laughable at best. Finally, the price. HDC is a highway robbery when you consider the pitiful content it offers. There's no way this game should be priced so high. It's like paying for a gourmet meal and getting a soggy sandwich instead.

Заранее ставлю негативный отзыв но изменю обзор если поменяется многое в игре.Во первых миссии по доставке после SnowRunner выглядят тут как нечто несуразное что хотели добавить но вышло это скучно.Очень маленькие карты где по сути и ехать некуда .Может на соревнованиях они тоже маленькие но эта игра скучнее чем игра про Уаз 4x4 которая вышла давно хотя пару лет назад я в нее играл и мне было интереснее за счет разнообразности локаций тут разнообразия нет по крайней мере я 2.5 часа катался проходил одну миссию за другой и мне все карты показались одинаковыми не в плане трассы а в плане биома .Непонимаю зачем делать проминающийся песок и грязь если физика пробуксовки и зарывания в него не работает этакий закос ради рекламы но по факту физики застревания в грязи нет и грязи самой тоже нет .Понравилось то что колеса от препятствий мнутся на этом пожалуй плюсы игры и закончились вроде бы ощущения от езды в кабине отдают реализмом но когда ты с видом от третьего лица происходящее кажется унылым ,звуки двигателя совсем не похожи на то какими я их слышал в жизни на Урале и Зил 131 я ездил за рулем ..Кароче задумка то классная но меня всю игру не покидало впечатление что я играл в сырую демо версию какого то будущего проэкта который хочет утереть нос Snowrunner но кроме реалистичных грузовиков предложить ему нечего .Удалил игру с компа после 2.5 часов желания играть дальше не появилось да и эти 2.5 часа я буквально себя заставлял надеялся что дальше будет интереснее .При должном подходе игра бы выстрелила а это нужны Моды и трассы разнообразные и доработать сам геймлей потому что ощущения с видом от третьего лица что грузовик едет по физике нет может из за расхождения со звуком звуки мотора ужасно блевотные если честно.

ONLY RECOMMEND If you like trucking games AND, that's a big and, AND you can get it DIRT CHEAP. I paid £8.99 and went in with little expectation, I'd say the guys at Nano Games tried their best, Aerosoft as a publisher and developer are prolific for churning out broken cash grab games in lowly contested markets. In the near 10 hours I played I got past the awful janky controls and saw them as a quirk to overcome, never did, my eyes adjusted to the staggeringly poor 25fps I got out of my RTX3080ti. and I enjoyed the challenge of just trying to make it through the championship courses, completing many of the championships and attaining platinum in all but 2 events. Its not that theirs a learning curve, this game is an entity of its own when it comes to vehicle control and camera control, there's no getting used to it. Which is also some of the worst camera positioning and controls I've ever experienced. Makes SpinTiers look intuitive. But amazingly I came out of my weekends playing having had fun and I'm considering going back to finish off the achievements another rainy weekend. Don't bother with cargo mode, the load screen break your truck before you get started. Good job I love SnowRunner MudRunner. AGAIN, ONLY BUY WHEN AT BASEMENT PRICE, DO NOT PAY MORE THAN £10 FOR THIS GAME AND YOU WONT FEEL HARD DONE BY.

This game does not deserve the negative reviews that it has received. It's a fundamentally GOOD game. This is a hardcore, off-road crawling simulator. If you don't deal well with frustration and tend to rage quit, you probably won't like it. If on the other hand, you would like challenging, technical, off-road driving, you will like it. This is not the DiRT series. This is more serious. Drive-train management is necessary and the terrain is ROUGH! Is it perfect? No. It needs some housekeeping. The developers need to REALLY fix the forcefeedback, do further optimization, and tone down the shimmer on some of the vegetation. I turn off the "Eye Adaptation" setting and set the AMD scaling to "Native" and that helps, at least for my nVidia RTX 3060. Otherwise, I run the game on Ultra settings. I hope that the developers realize that they've got a good game here and continue to work on it. The trucks are beautifully modeled, the environment looks good, it's fun to play IF you're into off-road technical crawling in big diesel trucks. I've tried all the modes, they're all fun. My favorite is Sport mode, where you compete in truck trials. But all modes are good. So, if you've been considering this title, but have been dismayed by the negative reviews, go ahead and give it a try. If you're into off-road simulation I think you'll find that it's a worthwhile game. I like it and recommend it.

Hallo! Bevor der Gedanke kommt "Der hat doch nur 1,4 Stunden gespielt!" Bei mir auch unspielbar mit meiner Hardware. Also, zuerst mal. Ich habe HDC lange in der "Entwicklung" verfolgt (auf dem Discord-Server) und mir war relativ früh klar daß das Spiel jetzt eher nicht so gut wird. Schon die Release-Verzögerungen waren nicht ohne: 15.01.2021: "Wir planen derzeit einen Early Access im April/Mai und einen Release Ende 2021. Natürlich mit mehr als 20 LKW." 19.05.2021: Auf die Frage wann das Spiel fertig gestellt werden soll. "Das können wir aktuell noch nicht sagen." 15.02.2022: Auf die Frage ob schon verlässliche Angaben zum Release gemacht werden können. "Nein da noch etwas Geduld bis Q4/2022 bleibt." Nächstes Release-Datum hätte dann Q1/2023 sein sollen. Wirkliches Release war dann in Q3/2023... Für mich war es in der Entwicklungszeit auch immer komisch daß so gut wie kein Austausch mit der Community da war. Es gab auch nie zB. ne Demo oder so. Es gab nur ein paar zeitlich begrenzte "Playtest". Die damals schon schwindende Community wurde durch solche Praktiken natürlich noch schwächer. Desweiteren war HDC schon in der Entwicklungszeit ein "totes Spiel" für mich. Echt schade da die Spielidee wirklich großes Potential hatte. Dann zum Release als ich versuchte es zu spielen. Von den Performance-Problemen mal abgesehen fielen mir viele Probleme auf welche schon auf den wenig veröffentlichten Test-Bildern zu sehen waren. Zb. Reifen die sich wie Kaugummi verformen. Weiters fiel mir auf daß sobald man auf eine Steigung fuhr, der LKW massiv Richtung Boden gedrückt würde, je höher man kletterte umso schlimmer wurde es. Wahrscheinlich ein Fehler in der eigens von Nano-Games für HDC entwickelten Engine. Wie schon weiter oben erwähnt, es ist wirklich schade daß HDC so früh schon ein "totes Spiel" ist. Auch wenn ich es nicht anders erwartet hatte.

They forgot to add even basic controller support - and they never will because it was abandoned on launch essentially, Refunded.

This game is garbage and crashes repeatedly! Graphic look bad on all setting! It crashes over and over with no error messages. Looks like it was made before 2010. Driving feels fake even using a steering wheel. Requested a refund.

Не плохая попытка в "УАЗ 4х4" но не зашло. Сразу оговорюсь - купил по скидке за 500р и как по мне то это потолок стоимости этой игры. Маленький набор авто, минимальный тюнинг, скучные модельки автомобилей. В том же самом УАЗе можно было создать своего собственного внедорожного монстра и гонять по трассам, здесь же весь тюнинг уже определили за тебя, печально. Покупать игру за полную стоимость однозначно не стоит, по скидке в 50 и более процентов - игра не плохая. Я же пожалуй верну деньги.
