About
The year is 2084. The future has turned out much darker than anyone could imagine. First, there was the Nanophage. A digital plague that killed thousands upon thousands of those who chose to augment their minds and bodies. Then came the War, leaving both the West and the East decimated and shattered. With no one left to seize power, corporations took over and forged their own crooked empires.
You are an Observer – a tool of corporate oppression. Feared and despised, you hack into the darkest corners of your suspects’ minds. You creep into their dreams, expose their fears, and extract whatever your investigation may require.
In this sci-fi tale crafted by Bloober Team – the modern‑day masters of horror, prepare to experience a dystopian future where not even your innermost thoughts are safe.
Become a Neural Detective – You play as Daniel Lazarski, an elite investigator of the future portrayed by late cyberpunk icon Rutger Hauer. As an Observer, you hack into the minds of suspects to extract clues and evidence. Anything they felt, thought, or remembered can and will be used to solve your case.
Eat Their Dreams – Using a device known as the Dream Eater, hack into the minds of the dead and dying to relive their final moments to explore their fears and obsessions. Delve into these twisted neural mazes and search for clues that can help you find the elusive killer.
Take in the Atmosphere of 2084 – Enter a world ravaged by war and cyber-plague, where life is cheap and hope is scarce. Where most people will do anything to escape their grim existence. Virtual realities, mind-altering drugs, neural implants - pick your poison and drift away into a blissful oblivion. But remember, no matter how deep you go, you can never hide from an Observer.

El gameplay es muy aburrido. Básicamente es un walking simulator pasilleriro/laberinto en donde la historia es una fumada total. No te enteras casi en ningún momento que está ocurriendo.
OBSERVER SYSTEM REDUX: Humanity Installed The Wrong Update -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Web review with screenshots and a full playthrough are available below. If this review helps you, feel free to follow my Steam Curator for more reviews. WEB REVIEW - https://solo-save.com/2026/07/01/observer/ FULL GAME - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jowanPwXzQ CURATOR - https://store.steampowered.com/curator/44944862/ -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🎮 Gameplay: Observer: System Redux is first and foremost a walking simulator, following a familiar formula shared by many games in the genre. Most of your time is spent exploring environments, investigating crime scenes, and interacting with the building's residents, while hide-and-chase sequences and occasional puzzles are introduced to keep the pacing varied. Rather than focusing on traditional survival horror, the gameplay leans heavily into psychological horror, and it does so exceptionally well. What captivated me most wasn't the gameplay mechanics themselves, but the way the story is presented through outstanding sound design and striking visuals. Although the pacing can feel a little slow at times, Bloober Team's restrained use of jump scares and unexpected twists greatly enhances the immersion. They truly understood how to get the most out of this style of game. 📘 Story: The story is another aspect of Observer that I enjoyed far more than I originally expected. There have been countless attempts at surreal, futuristic narratives over the years, but many of them struggle to fully deliver. Observer, however, pulled me in from the very beginning. Without spoiling anything, the story is both intriguing and genuinely thought-provoking. While some moments are undeniably surreal and far-fetched, they often feel uncomfortably close to reality. It constantly reminded me of the TV series Black Mirror, which I absolutely love, as it explores the potential horrors of a world becoming increasingly digitalized. I also have to praise the side quests, which are every bit as engaging as the main story. They never felt like filler. Instead, they expanded the world and made the residents and their struggles just as compelling as the main investigation. 📺 Visuals: System Redux is an absolutely gorgeous remake that delivers a significant visual upgrade over its predecessor. The enhanced graphics greatly improve both the immersion and the oppressive atmosphere, bringing its cyberpunk world to life in stunning detail. What impressed me the most, however, was the game's creative use of visual effects. Glitching, low-poly sequences, and a variety of other artistic styles are seamlessly blended together to portray surrealism in a way I have never experienced before. Rather than relying solely on graphical fidelity, the game builds a distinct visual identity that sets it apart in a genre where many titles tend to look alike. Combined with its exceptional atmosphere, the visuals create one of the most memorable cyberpunk worlds I've experienced in a game. 🎧 Sound: The sound design is nothing short of outstanding and plays a huge role in what makes the game such an immersive experience. The sound effects are incredibly convincing, often creating a constant sense of unease while catching you off guard in ways that perfectly complement the psychological horror. Rather than relying on cheap scares, the audio is carefully used to disrupt your rhythm and keep you questioning what is real, making every step through the apartment complex feel tense and unpredictable. The voice acting is equally impressive, with strong performances across the entire cast. The late Rutger Hauer delivers an outstanding performance as Daniel Lazarski, bringing a great deal of personality and emotion to the role. However, due to his age at the time of recording, there are occasional moments where his dialogue becomes a little difficult to understand as he mumbles some of his lines. Thankfully, these moments are infrequent and do little to diminish what is otherwise a truly stellar performance. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🏆 Overall: ( 9.5 / 10 ) Observer: System Redux surprised me far more than I ever expected it would. I can honestly say it's the best walking simulator I've played to date, and for me it even surpassed Indika, something I don't say lightly. Going into the game, I never imagined it would become one of my benchmark titles for the genre, but after finishing it, I realized it had more than earned that place. The experience wasn't completely flawless. I encountered a few bugs that forced me to reload an earlier save, and one side quest became impossible to complete due to a soft lock. Despite that, the overall quality of the game was so high that these issues barely affected my enjoyment. I can also understand that the heavy use of visual and audio effects may become overwhelming for some players, and this certainly won't be a game for everyone. However, it knows exactly what it wants to be and executes that vision with remarkable confidence. It's a rare example of psychological horror done right, delivering a thought-provoking experience in a way that few other games have managed to achieve. It's a game I would recommend everyone experience at least once.

13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Aug 25: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Anlamsız bir oyun.
Fantastic cyberpunk experience, criminally underrated title. Lynchian scenery.
Observer: System Redux tiene una ambientación perfecta con una historia que me ha capturado de inicio a fin, explorando temas actuales proyectados en este futuro distópico del año 2086. Si te gusta el tono de Max Payne o Alex Casey te recomiendo este juego.
