About
The year is 2084. The future has turned out much darker than anyone could imagine. First, there was the Nanophage. A digital plague that killed thousands upon thousands of those who chose to augment their minds and bodies. Then came the War, leaving both the West and the East decimated and shattered. With no one left to seize power, corporations took over and forged their own crooked empires.
You are an Observer – a tool of corporate oppression. Feared and despised, you hack into the darkest corners of your suspects’ minds. You creep into their dreams, expose their fears, and extract whatever your investigation may require.
In this sci-fi tale crafted by Bloober Team – the modern‑day masters of horror, prepare to experience a dystopian future where not even your innermost thoughts are safe.
Become a Neural Detective – You play as Daniel Lazarski, an elite investigator of the future portrayed by late cyberpunk icon Rutger Hauer. As an Observer, you hack into the minds of suspects to extract clues and evidence. Anything they felt, thought, or remembered can and will be used to solve your case.
Eat Their Dreams – Using a device known as the Dream Eater, hack into the minds of the dead and dying to relive their final moments to explore their fears and obsessions. Delve into these twisted neural mazes and search for clues that can help you find the elusive killer.
Take in the Atmosphere of 2084 – Enter a world ravaged by war and cyber-plague, where life is cheap and hope is scarce. Where most people will do anything to escape their grim existence. Virtual realities, mind-altering drugs, neural implants - pick your poison and drift away into a blissful oblivion. But remember, no matter how deep you go, you can never hide from an Observer.

Observer Redux is quite a ride. Let's start with how I experienced it: I played the original back when it came out and remember enjoying it, although most of the story went over my head. When I learned of the Redux I immediately wish listed it. Now that I played it I can say it a pretty flawed masterpiece. Why is it a masterpiece? Because the game world (a dark dystopian cyberpunk one), it so well designed that it lives and breathes. you can feel the oppression when you walk through the narrow halls of the tenement buildings. The artwork is sublime, in a prophetic way. It is very likely that this could be our future. You dont want this world to exist. Yet you play a (sort of) detective who works for the world's largest (evil) corporation. Still it is flawed on pretty much any other level. A few of them are voice acting (English). Main protagonist is Dutch pride Rutger Hauer, bless his soul, who gives by far the most outstanding performance. The rest is just very below par, especially the annoying kid and Amir, who is clearly of Arabic/Persian origin, but has a thick US dude accent). Some other character voices seem to change actor, as I couldn't recognise Rutger's sons voice a few times. Gameplay mechanics are unclear and undeveloped. There is no inventory, still you can pick up stuff, like a key to an apartment. When you then arrive at the apartment the door is magically opened (door unlocked notice). The organic scanner also doesnt seem to work on everything organic (at least not on the hanged man's body). Dream sequences are too drawn out, making it a chore sometimes to get through them. There are many side quests and keeping track of what is related to what case is impossible. On your first playthrough you might also miss a lot. I had to play the game 3 times with walkthrough to figure it all out. Audio: soundtrack is good, but ambient sounds are often missing completely. Story is good overall, but characters are underdeveloped and a lot is left to the players imagination. I had GPT explain me the 2nd ending as I would never have understood what the devs meant. The games you play inside the game are well designed and challenging, although repetitive, they could have spiced things up a bit. There is no bonus material, except the dev cards you pick up, they could have at least presented the amazing artwork or audio tracks. Visuals: upgraded graphics that mostly stand out positively, the feel of the original is somewhat gone, which I missed. I played this game in VR using UEVR but had to install quite a few mods to make it bearable for my eyes (turn off motion blur, fish eye, noise, chromatic aberration, add solid Hud background, etc). It was however very much worth it. Observer is a tense, delirious cyberpunk-fever-dream that I eventually woke up from. An experience I wouldn't want to have missed.

13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Aug 25: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

So far the game is great. Like a mix between Blade Runner and SOMA. Rutger Hauer is really cool in this too. The game desperately needs a shader loading on startup though. Stutters all over the place when you're first looking around an area.
It’s heavy and sick all the way through.
This game offers an amazing story about an ideal afterlife. The combining cyberpunk theme with the story provides amazing scenery and great gameplay. The mechanics are incredibly well-crafted, especially when hacking into the minds of others. As you progress, the stories you uncover are deeply complex. You get to discover the darkest fears of those who chose isolation, adding a profound layer of psychological horror to the experience. To top it all off, the story concludes with an incredible plot twist that leaves a lasting impression. It's a must-play for any cyberpunk and thriller fan!
Análise: Um ambiente muito interessante, e a temática realmente me chamou a atenção.
