Descend under a mountain to the marketplace below, where everything has a price. Meet the four men who can each give you what you need, but beware: they have their own hidden motives and uses for you. OBSCURA is a dark fantasy romance VN that asks how far you'll go to get what you need.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Sep 2 → 1.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Keir - Sarcastic Thief
"When I compliment you — if that ever happens — you’ll know."
Where there is a market, there are thieves. Keir steals to feed hungry mouths, but never forget that to survive at the fringes requires the most ruthless kind of pragmatism.

Cirrus - Humble Priest
"Penance is of the utmost importance here, and I think you'd best keep that soul of yours unblemished."
The church of the Lunar God offers sanctuary to all who come to its doors and Cirrus will give aid to those who request it. But there is no such thing as a gift in the market, and whatever aid Cirrus grants, he will want something in return.

Francesco - Spirited Adventurer
"There are so many sensations I've never felt before, and I'm making it my mission to finally live my life to the fullest!"
Sweet and sun-kissed, people such as him does not typically come to the marketplace. Can you trust this seemingly innocent man, in a place where everyone keeps dark secrets and appearances could be the most misleading of all?

Oleander - Merchant Gadfly
"You want my attention? You've got it, minx. Meet me later and you'll see what that gets you."
A market needs things to sell, and Oleander is happy to provide anything you can ask for, at a price. Hedonic and charming, he makes all his work into games, but he won't say to what end he's playing.

Vesper - Cursed Protagonist
"The people down here have beautiful taste..."
No one goes under the mountain without a good reason. Unfortunately, you have a great reason. Whatever you were aboveground, now is the time to abandon it.
Choose between 3 different masks

All information is available on our website, but in short: show as much of the demo content (Chapter 1) as you like, you may stream paid content freely as long as there is commentary, but VODs of paid content should only show ~20% of the script; this currently comes out to approximately 30-60 minutes of material for Chapter 2 total depending on reading speed.

Just at first glance, this game already looked like such a put together game before i bought it. The character designs, the story, the choices, the music, the flexibility for different genders, and even the side characters are all so amazing!! :D I've always been a HUGE fan of visual novels and played SO MANY, however Obscura has secured its number one spot on my list almost instantly. You completely tell how much thought and care was put into each character. In my experience, there's usually a single character who is the most loved and is everyone's favorite, but looking at media you can tell that all characters are loved!! <3 I also enjoyed that unlike other games, Obscura doesn't have oddly cringey/cheesy line or dialogue options ^^ Not only is the writing great, but the setting and the game concept itself is just so incredibly unique. I would say I'm a decently picky person when it comes to playing games, however I was so instantly drawn into the storyline. I've played the game and all the routes numerous amounts of time and honestly, every time I replay them, I still get excited and feel like I could never get bored of it. The devs are also extremely kind and open to answering questions on socials!! I'm so happy that I was able to stumble upon Obscura :) I love love love this game and can't wait for more chapters to come out! <3

Ok. Full HONEST REVIEW........... I... absolutely.... adore this game entirely. It's so beautifully done between the original soundtrack, artwork, plot, and worldbuilding. I will genuinely never shut up about this game. This is by far the most unique game of its genre in such a wonderfully surprising way. Ranging from the overall purposeful obscurity of so many elements that contribute to the undergrounds mysterious and alluring atmosphere, the inclusivity of character options, and having SO MANY damn good route options.. Like oh my god. the soundtrack. and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ oleanders route is downright phenomenally done. I love how dark it is. the atmosphere is so rich and fully immersed in absolute darkness, secrecy, and veiled motives in all the right ways. I have replayed the bacchanal party scene too many times to count. its like. oh my god. the atmosphere, the scenery, the music (the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ music is the most beautifully haunting, fantastically dark, and something that i could've only ever dreamed of finding something similar prior to playing Obscura. Cajsa ily.) like dudeeee. literally ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ blew my mind that anything like this possibly existed within the VN world. I'm actively awaiting new updates. I've literally devoured every bit of media across all platforms for this game that there is. Please play. please spend all your money on this dev team. they are so wonderfully talented, hardworking, and i ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ applaud them for creating Obscura WHILE managing literal education and jobs. so incredibly beyond words talented... overall. I'm def an Oleander girl with Keir as my close second. give us more sexy oleander pls. thats all. Thank you.
The atmosphere and the design are great. The music is nice and the characters are charismatic. It’s fun to replay. Each route is unique, so it’s like a story within a story. I quite like the MC, the masks theme, how you are being pushed to seek adventure and take risks because of how little time you have. Although, I felt like routes are still green, they end quite abruptly. All characters have distinct personalities. Cirrus's route is the best one for me by far with a strong story and lore, Keir left me questioning if it's all there is
as their relationship leads nowhere in particular
. Francesco is a likable character and adds warmth to the world. Didn’t go to the last one yet. It’s early access, so it's understandable that the story is not fully polished. Also, achievements don't work well (I received a few but they didn't show anywhere) but they are not that important to me. Overall, I've enjoyed the game. The team has a strong vision.
this game is by far in my top 3! everything i've seen so far has been amazing from the art all the way to the music and the effects. when in tense moments i feel genuine unease, when in intimate moments i'm very much drawn in. the chemistry with each LI is gorgeous. it can be scary and haunting or shockingly sweet, and above all not what you may expect. for better or for worse. also i adore the fact that we have a safe word because wow it's so comforting and i will say in one route in particular so far i'd say it's mandatory lol :3 i didn't use it but like i said i'm glad it's there. so 100/10!!! i say play this game or get the demo and have a blast because i've never played a visual novel like obscura.
I’m obsessed with this game, if it ever has any DLCs I’m buying straight away. The person who wrote the Cirrus route knows their stuff, I really appreciate it :D
"I don't even think I care that he's a priest," indeed
哇哦,拓展了一些新知识
love the world building, the story, and the idea of having the main character disguised behind a mask so i can immerse myself more than other otome games; Kier is an absolute shy boy angel (i would die for him happily) i cannot wait for the story to progress. <3
I love Obscura so much. The narration and dialogues are beautifully and carefully written. The atmosphere of the underground, cave market is one of a kind. And hey, I always enjoy many dumb ways to die. I enjoy all the romantic interests immensely, and how they impact each other's stories as well and reveal little bits of lore at each step. And what intriguing lore it is! This game is what got me into visual novels, seeing that can they be more than just clicking through a story - but an experience full of impactful choices. The aftercare menu is a very thoughtful feature, needed in a game with heavy and risky themes like this one. Can't wait for chapter 3 to come out!
All the love interest are so unique and each of their stories keep you hooked, always look forward to the next chapters
