"Революционеры распространяются по всему миру, короли осуждаются на гильотину, наш долг продолжает расти, а армия недовольна нами. Это будет трудное правление, постарайтесь не быть убитым или свергнутым и убедитесь, что наше правительство не потерпит неудачу ... .... На самом деле, все это не имеет значения, делай что хочешь, все люди заканчивают одинаково. Ты хочешь править? Нет
I loved this game! it was very challenging to get a good ending in it my only complaint is the mini games could function a little bit better for instance the one where you cut the coins fruit ninja style if the mouse locked to the window that would be good and sometimes clicks don't register which isn't the biggest deal and the tapping game where you raise taxes if you tap too fast while the game is starting it can glitch the game where you can perma tap but have to restart the game to get out of it and the puppet game was just impossible for me! (that might be because I suck though) overall a really neat decision based game my full play through with translated good ending here https://youtu.be/J390CTa3mxs

Absolutely terrible. There's no tutorial and the pictures honestly don't help at all with figuring out options, very confusing and boring. Would not recommend ever.
.... Aslında bunların hiçbirinin önemi yok, istediğini yap, bütün insanların sonu aynı olur. "
"O Rei" is a rather badly made e-book broken up by equally badly made minigames in this "Choices barely matter" CYOA. What do you do in the game? You get to take over the king's reign and decisions, searching for one of the multiple endings and enduring crap minigames that make 1990's flash games for phones look like Black Myth Wukong. You're essentially presented with a series of repetitive, pre-determined scenarios with limited choices and even more limited "fun". This is a drudge, but it's so unengaging you'll rush to the uninstall button before anything else. For gameplay purposes, because the user interface for this game is mostly just 2D static text/images... it might as well be a web page. It's functionally no different from a browser game. And we all know, Steam isn't here to compete with Chrome and Firefox. If the game can be done in a web browser, it's just not rich or compelling enough to appeal to serious gamers on PC. There's an overwhelming amount of mediocre Visual Novel/E-book style cutscenes in this game, to the point this wouldn't be a game if it wasn't for the crap minigames. The developers failed one of the most basic, fundamental requirements of game design.. "Show, don't tell." So you'll spend a huge amount of time not playing the game, but clicking through endless lines of poorly written VN text cutscenes because the developers couldn't work out how to relate their narrative through the game mechanics, and decided instead it would be better to compete with reading a book for your time. We're here to play games, not read through hours of garbage intersituals. Your gaming rig is not a Kindle. The game is really simple and unambitious in terms of implementation, more of a tech demo or one of those cases where an amateur developer spends $100 to publish something on Steam Direct to see if it's possible. Yes, obviously it's possible. A proof of concept, tech demo, or something that's less than a little blip on the radar isn't offering anything truly valuable to gamers. The graphics aren't great, Some weirdly monochrome "babby's first Wacom tablet" illustrations to go along with the badly written text. That's understandably a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. This game is fairly dated at 6 years old... and even back then it looked old and busted compared to contemporary, professionally made 3D games of the same period. It looked bad then, it looks worse now. On pricing, this is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 3 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. There's no financial cost up-front, but you'd still be spending your time and a little hard drive space on a product that's far from the best. There's thousands of better alternatives on Steam.
